Обычно очень легко отличить плохое для города явление от хорошего. Захват парковки, реклама на асфальте, турникеты в автобусах — плохо. Ночные автобусы, бесшумный трамвай, красивая плитка — хорошо. Но в одной точке мой детектор ломается: летние веранды в узких местах.
Каждый год кафе незаконно захватывают больше половины пешеходной части Невского с целью увеличить свою прибыль летом и вместить поток посетителей. Каждый год летом на Невский выходит очень (!) много людей, и ходить по Невскому становится очень неудобно из-за того что встречным потокам не разойтись. Все как на дорогах: скорость движения резко падает, медленных людей не обогнать (нет места), в некоторых точках разойтись могут только два человека (как на фото ниже, между столбом и верандой).
Но хорошо оформленные открытые летние веранды создают уют в городе, приближают его атмосферу к европейской. Да и самим людям удобно и приятно сидеть на улице летом. Даже эта конкретная веранда, которая создала самое узкое место для прохода, одновременно самая красивая. Вот и не могу понять, летние веранды это добро или зло. В идеале нужно делать их там, где они не будут мешать проходу. Но таких мест у нас в городе почти нет. Конкретно на Невском непонятно больше вреда от них или пользы.
