Дарт Вейдер был сделан из памятника Владимиру Ленину, стоявшего на территории завода. Скульптуру должны были демонтировать в связи с законом о декоммунизации, но работники расположенных рядом предприятий и жители близлежащих домов попросили изменить монумент, а не сносить его.
