Нет-нет, пожалуйста нет, что же вы творите, остановитесь. Изогнутый экран это ошибочная ветвь развития технологий. Это выглядит красиво на бумаге и на промо в магазине. Но вживую это провал.
У меня фетиш на экраны. Я вижу даже самые маленькие пиксели. Кайфую от плавных тонких линий при высоком разрешении. От ярких фоточек на Super AMOLED. Я тот самый человек, который видит разницу между Retina и QHD (спойлер: то что глазу достаточно ретины - маркетинговый буллшит, разница существенна и заметна глазом). Я специально заказывал из Азии версию Galaxy S5, которая выпускалась только на корейском рынке, только потому что там был экран 2K.
Я держал в руках знаменитый Galaxy S7 Edge. Долго держал. Сделал три разных подхода в разных магазинах. И в итоге взял обычный, без скруглений. Потому что посмотрите на эти фотографии бок-о-бок. Видите тёмно-зеленое искажение по краям? Это не освещение так падает, оно реально так выглядит, под любым углом и освещением. А вы что хотели? Гнутое стекло преломляет свет, вносит заметные артефакты в картинку, портит ее. Изогнутый экран это не красиво, он искажает фотографии. Стоило всем отказываться от выпуклых телевизоров в пользу плоских, чтобы вновь вернуться к выпуклой картинке в самом важном телевизоре - вашем мобильнике. Если все смартфоны перейдут на выпуклые экраны, это будет конец эстетике изображений. Эту моду нужно остановить.

Because look at these photos side by side. See the dark green distortion around the edges? It’s not lighting that falls like that, it really looks like that, from any angle and lighting. What did you want? Curved glass refracts light, introduces noticeable artifacts into the picture, spoils it. A curved screen is not beautiful, it distorts photos. It was worth all to refuse convex TVs in favor of flat ones in order to return again to the convex picture in the most important TV - your mobile phone. If all smartphones switch to convex screens, this will be the end of image aesthetics. This mod must be stopped.
