Дорогой ВКонтактик. Треть жизни мы вместе, люблю тебя очень, но нет больше сил терпеть. Друзья не дадут соврать — много хорошего произошло в постдуровские времена, я об этом писал и говорил. Например, переводы с карты на карту — самый удобный, быстрый и выгодный инструмент обмена деньгами.
Но все меркнет на фоне того как деградирует core фича — обмен сообщениями.
С диалогами в мобильном приложении под Андроид полный хаос. Я очень сомневаюсь что это связано с тем что я не обновлял приложение с момента отключения музыкального кэша. Вот с чем я столкнулся за последнюю неделю:
1. Счетчик в меню показывает 1 входящее сообщение, но список диалогов чист, все прочитано. Попытка руками зайти в каждый диалог ни к чему не приводит, новых сообщений нет. Из-за этого чуть не пропустил важное сообщение. Пришлось сверяться с m.vk.com, там сообщение нашлось. Я вручную заходил в тот диалог, куда оно не было доставлено - это не помогло его увидеть.
2. Отправил сообщение с нестабильным интернетом (метро), оно зависло в состоянии отправки. Потом появился стабильный интернет. Список диалогов показывает что сообщение отправлено - оно подняло диалог в хронологии наверх, у него стоит точка что оно не прочитано. Захожу в диалог - вижу статус отправки (часы), хотя я был уверен что оно отправлено. Отправка так и не происходит, перезапуск приложения не помогает, я не понимаю что делать и получил ли адресат сообщение. Пришлось сверяться с m.vk.com
3. В пункте 2 я отправил еще одно сообщение. Оно тоже показалось в списке диалогов как отправленное. Но оказалось что оно в какой-то момент зафэйлилось. Чтобы это узнать тоже пришлось зайти в диалог и увидеть красный восклицательный знак. И на всякий случай свериться с m.vk.com, потому что доверия списку диалогов и конкретным диалогам уже никакого нет.
4. Иногда сообщение не отправляется, а потом доотправляется, и я вижу два сообщения в диалоге — одно с красным восклицательным знаком, а второе, точно такое же — отправленное. Пофэйленное сообщение остается висеть, его приходится удалять руками. Иногда пофэйленные сообщения с красным восклицательным знаком висят так давно, что теряют актуальность, и я хочу прервать доотправку и удаляю сообщение. При этом я не понимаю я удалил его только из списка но оно в фоне доотправится или я удалением отменил доотправку. Стоит ли говорить, что не всегда пофэйлившиеся сообщения доотправляются сами, и я каждый раз гадаю надо ли запускать переотправку руками или подождать когда оно само, потому что интернет уже стабильный. В том числе так случаются двойные сообщения из начала этого пункта.
5. Перезапуск приложения (с выгрузкой его из памяти естественно) от этого всего не спасает. Мне сказали что помогает почистить кэш сообщений через настройки приложения. Я это сделал, это снесло неотправленные сообщения, но заодно порушило хронологию. Один из диалогов со входящим сообщением, которое по времени должно быть сверху, уехал куда-то далеко вниз. Снова в m.vk.com был другой список диалогов, чем в нативном приложении. Это непредсказуемый хаос.
Когда спрашивают чем Телеграм лучше ВК — да вот этим лучше, там никогда-никогда не бывает ничего подобного. Простите, друзья и коллеги из ВК, но единственный выход из этой ситуации — это Телеграм, и я хочу удвоить усилия по переводу всех личных коммуникаций туда. У меня не было такой цели. Мне нормально было общаться и тут, и там. Но я больше не могу вести переписку в ВК без боли. Сообщения ВК стали непредсказуеемее Скайпа в его худшие времена. Я ни в какой момент времени не могу быть уверен что входящее сообщение мне доставлено, а исходящее сообщение отправлено, что диалоги в правильном порядке, что вообще какая-либо информация в диалогах верна.
Буду рад со всеми на постоянной основе перейти на общение в Телеграм.

1. The counter in the menu shows 1 incoming message, but the list of dialogs is clean, everything is read. An attempt to enter each dialogue with your hands does not lead to anything, there are no new messages. Because of this, I almost missed an important message. I had to check with m.vk.com, there was a message there. I manually went into that dialogue where it was not delivered - this did not help to see it.
2. I sent a message with unstable Internet (metro), it hung in the sending state. Then came the stable internet. The list of dialogs shows that the message has been sent - it raised the dialogue in the chronology up, it has a point that it has not been read. I go into the dialogue - I see the sending status (hours), although I was sure that it was sent. Sending does not happen, restarting the application does not help, I do not understand what to do and whether the recipient received the message. I had to check with m.vk.com
3. In paragraph 2, I sent another message. It also appeared in the list of dialogs as sent. But it turned out that at some point it was flaming. To find out, I also had to go into a dialogue and see a red exclamation mark. And just in case, check with m.vk.com, because there is no longer any trust in the list of dialogs and specific dialogs.
4. Sometimes the message is not sent, and then it is sent again, and I see two messages in the dialogue - one with a red exclamation mark, and the second, exactly the same - sent. A fake message remains hanging, it must be removed by hand. Sometimes fake messages with a red exclamation mark hang so long that they lose their relevance, and I want to interrupt the resending and delete the message. At the same time, I do not understand, I deleted it only from the list, but it will be sent in the background or I canceled the posting by deleting. Needless to say, messages that are not always sent out are not always sent by themselves, and each time I wonder whether it is necessary to start the forwarding with my hands or to wait when it is by itself, because the Internet is already stable. This includes double messages from the beginning of this paragraph.
5. Restarting the application (with unloading it from memory naturally) does not save anything from this. I was told that it helps to clear the message cache through the application settings. I did it, it blew unsent messages, but at the same time ruined the chronology. One of the dialogs with an incoming message, which should be on top in time, went somewhere far down. Again in m.vk.com there was a different list of dialogs than in the native application. This is unpredictable chaos.
When they ask why Telegram is better than VK - yes this is better, there never, never is anything like it. Sorry, friends and colleagues from VK, but the only way out of this situation is Telegram, and I want to redouble my efforts to transfer all personal communications there. I didn’t have such a goal. It was normal for me to communicate here and there. But I can no longer correspond with VK without pain. VK messages have become more unpredictable than Skype in its worst days. I cannot be sure at any point in time that an incoming message has been delivered to me, but an outgoing message has been sent, that the dialogs are in the correct order, that generally any information in the dialogs is correct.
I will be glad to go on communication with Telegram with everyone on an ongoing basis.
