Когда я работал в Яндексе, там была практика плановых учений. Сервисы проектировались так, чтобы при отказе одной из систем продолжать работу хотя бы в режиме только для чтения. В рамках учений дергали рубильник части сервиса и смотрели что же сломается. Эта мудрая практика позволяла находить проблемные места до того как они хаотически возникают и накладываются друг на друга. Хотя у меня, если честно, до сих пор остался вопрос не превышало ли суммарное время простоя сервисов от учений потенциальное время простоя от предотвращенных с их помощью проблем. Но сейчас не об этом.
Роскомнадзор под лозунгом "так не доставайся же ты никому" переблокировал в интернете все, что плохо лежало. Это уже случилось и стоит вопрос что будет дальше. А дальше, боюсь, будет не сильно лучше, и вот почему: независимо от первопричин, вакханалия с блокировками оказалась для всех очень выгодной. Для власти выгода в том, что под видом погони за Телеграмом проведены примерно те самые учения, которые были в Яндексе, только в масштабах целой страны. Учения по отключению от внешнего интернета. Малые и средние бизнесы (именно они используют облачные хостинги) посмотрят где что сломалось и зарезервируют системы. А крупные бизнесы и так держали данные в собственных датацентрах, поэтому не были затронуты.
Отдельную выгоду получили российские облачные провайдеры. Мэйл ру пишет что в Облако для бизнеса выстроилась очередь из клиентов. С точки зрения власти это тоже безусловная победа и добро — развитие российского бизнеса, перевод финансовых потоков в Россию и опять же, устойчивость к рубильнику, если он когда-то понадобится. Так что эта история уже не про Телеграм. Она про мягкую версию китайской модели развития интернета в России. Внешний интернет с точки зрения власти больше не нужен (сформулирую точнее: опционален). Рано или поздно его отключат либо с той стороны, либо с этой, и нужно чтобы российские сервисы были к этому готовы. А тут так удачно Дуров на коне, просто подарок. В этой истории все в плюсе: Телеграм получил мировой пиар и продолжает работать, Кремль протестировал автономность малых бизнесов, российские хостинги получили клиентов. Кругом вин. А то что мою домашнюю виртуалку зацепило — ну это так, collateral damage.
