There were many interesting speakers, guests at #Rutalks - this was a unique opportunity to establish business contacts with important business people, politicians, top government officials and well-known media personnel during breakfast at the same table in an informal setting.
Alena Arshinova, a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a member of the committee on science and education, reported, among other things, that the regions are returning back to the State Budget up to 80% of the money they received for pre-school education (programs for children under 3 years old). That is, there is money and they give it, but in the regions there are not enough competencies to develop preschool educational projects.
A pleasant surprise was that despite the cold relations with London, guests from the UK became partners and speakers of the business breakfast - this is an educational company for children - Lucullus Educational Consultants, with an interesting report made by Director Elena Sunny. Moderator Aleksei Arkhipov noted that it is possible through such business breakfasts that relations between Russia and the UK could become warmer.
