И пошёл заниматься любимым в последнее время делом — читать Википедию.

Автор(ка?) (так надо писать по современным правилам русского языка?) и первая исполнитель(ница?) погибла в 23 года (снова число 23) и "за свою жизнь ... написала более 200 песен".
