23 мая, в субботу члены Молодёжной общественной палаты района Вешняки совместно с местным депутатом Михаилом Бутримовым в рамках Дня Кусково вышли на защиту лесопарка.
- В 2011 году лесопарку Кусково планировалось присвоить статус особо охраняемой природной территории, однако это не произошло, но позже появился проект строительства Северо-восточной хорды, отдельный участок которой должен пройти через лесопарк, что, конечно, потребует высвобождения территории около 1,1 км в длину и 30-40 м в ширину от занимаемых зелёных насаждений – передает муниципальный депутат Михаил Бутримов. – Парку нужна комплексная программа благоустройства, а не вырубка.
Со слов депутата в парке отсутствуют обустроенные сети пешеходных дорожек – только грунтовые и насыпные щебёночные. По первым невозможно пройти после дождя, по вторым просто невозможно ходить в летней обуви на тонкой подошве. Существующие детские площадки не имеют обустроенных должным образов подходов, после дождя или таяния снега у входа на детскую площадку – грязь и лужи, и поэтому ни одного ребёнка. Пересохший пруд в одной части парка, стоячая вода в другом. Разрушен стадион «Фрезер», на котором в своё время начинал легендарный Эдуард Стрельцов и где ещё в 1970-е годы проводились турниры по хоккею с мячом, собиравшие полные трибуны. Теперь там остались только ржавые и поломанные входные ворота, как память о былом. Нет в парке и нормального, качественного кафе семейного типа. На более чем 100 тысяч жителей во всём парке оборудовано всего 12 общественных (бесплатных) пикниковых точек и чуть больше 6 платных, нет нормальных санузлов.
В прошлом году местные жители совместно с инициативной группой «Спаси Вешняки» и движением «Мой двор» передали в Правительство Москвы свыше 4 тысяч подписей за отмену строительства участка Северо-восточной хорды открытым способом под окнами жилых домов в районе Вешняки и через территорию лесопарка Кусково. Городские власти никак не отреагировали на это.
- Среди посетителей лесопарка силами членов Молодёжной палаты и активистов их организаций: военно-спортивный клуб «Вихрь», клуб «Ветер истории» и Молодёжь за трезвую столицу распространялись буклеты, в которых содержались интересные факты о Кусково, информация о его животном и растительном мире, а так же карта местности – сообщила председатель Молодёжной палаты Татьяна Филипова. - Так же, мы организовали сбор подписей за комплексное благоустройство и придание лесопарку статуса особо охраняемой природной территории (ООПТ). Данная акция направлена на то, чтобы показать и отметить значимость Кусково не только для района, но и для Москвы в целом.
Собранные подписи и предложения по благоустройству будут переданы в Совет депутатов муниципального округа Вешняки, депутату Московской городской Думы В.М. Круглякову и в Департамент природопользования и охраны окружающей среды города Москвы.

According to the deputy, there are no equipped networks of footpaths in the park - only unpaved and bulk crushed stone. On the first it is impossible to go after rain, on the second it is simply impossible to walk in summer shoes with thin soles. Existing playgrounds do not have properly equipped images of approaches, after rain or melting snow at the entrance to the playground - mud and puddles, and therefore not a single child. A dry pond in one part of the park, stagnant water in another. The Fraser stadium was destroyed, at which the legendary Eduard Streltsov began at the time, and where back in the 1970s, ball hockey tournaments were held, gathering full stands. Now there were only rusty and broken entrance gates, as a memory of the past. There is also no normal, high-quality family-style cafe in the park. For more than 100 thousand inhabitants, only 12 public (free) picnic points are equipped in the entire park, and a little more than 6 are paid, there are no normal bathrooms.
Last year, local residents, together with the Save Veshnyaki initiative group and the My Dvor movement, submitted over 4 thousand signatures to the Moscow Government for canceling the construction of the Northeastern Chord section in an open way under the windows of residential buildings in the Veshnyaki area and through the territory of the Kuskovo forest park. The city authorities did not react to this in any way.
- Among the visitors to the forest park by members of the Youth Chamber and activists of their organizations: the Vikhr military sports club, the Wind of History club and the Youth for the sober capital, booklets were distributed that contained interesting facts about Kuskovo, information about its animal and plant world, as well as a map of the area, said Tatyana Filipova, chairman of the Youth Chamber. - Also, we organized the collection of signatures for comprehensive improvement and giving the forest park the status of a specially protected natural area (SPNA). This action is aimed at showing and celebrating the importance of Kuskovo not only for the region, but also for Moscow as a whole.
The collected signatures and proposals for improvement will be transferred to the Council of Deputies of the Veshnyaki municipal district, to the deputy of the Moscow City Duma V.M. Kruglyakov and the Department of Environmental Management and Environmental Protection of Moscow.
