KIA Sportage "Бегемотик". Часть 2.
Летом 2011 мы подняли машину на 5-6см и поставили колёса побольше. Спортейдж сразу возмужал. Так началось строительство спортейджа как внедорожника. И вместе с этим начались соревнования.

Первые же покатушки на поднятой машине вызывали поросячий визг. Ты реально едешь, ты понимаешь, что проехать можешь уже сильно дальше. сильно глубже. Леса около дачи уже почти полностью изъезжены.

Первыми соревнованиями был "Паркетник кантри". Довольно лайтовое мероприятие, куда мы приехали просто погонять в удовольствие. Залезть поглубже, запачкаться посильнее. Было интересно и весело. Там пришло понимание, что передний бампер уже не жилец и скоро настанет пора силового. Кстати, с шутками прибаутками, сами того не ожидая мы заняли 4е место из 50+ экипажей и даже попали в призы, т.к. минимально отстали от третьего места. Конечно же огромное спасибо [id55038|Кеше] и экипажу [id388922|Антона] . Командная работа сделала своё дело.

На парткетнике мы поняли, что что-то можем и было решено ехать на соревнования посерьёзнее. Ими оказались "Братина трофи". Дух соревнований пропитал нас с ног до головы и мы рубились целый день что есть сил. И результат не заставил себя ждать. С ходу мы взяли кубок за первое место в категории "стандарт". Радости было много, первые же соревнования и сразу первое место.
На радостях было решено не останавливаться на достигнутом и вскоре мы едем на соревнования "Зарница трофи". Народ наблюдает за тем как мы берём точки - с разгону машина залетает в болото, проезжает сколько может, а дальше быстро дотаскиваем её до точки лебёдкой. Обратно она как-то гребёт колёсами и едет. Люди удивляются и проникаются уважением. Дальше была досадная ошибка - на одной из точек мы промахнулись и свалились в глубокую колею. Вода омывает салон, машина заглохла, вытягиваем лебёдкой обратно. Сушимся, заводимся и летим дальше. Машина работает с перебоями, но мы упорно собираем точки, идём до конца. В итоге мы сумели финишировать и в конечном итоге занять третье место. Но финишировав мы больше завестись не смогли, из леса нас эвакуировали на тросу. Но очередная чашка в коллекцию.
Конечно же огромное спасибо [id1535966|Жене], [id6690540|Грише] и [id7782|Саше] за то, что великолепно штурманили меня, без вас никаких кубков бы не было.

Покатушки уже стали проходить по маршрутам соревнований. Ездили далеко и глубоко. Под Сосновым Бором прикончили спортяге привода, да и вакуумные хабы давали осечку за осечкой. Где-то в то время были поставлены ручные хабы, появилось больше уверенности на бездорожье.

Зимой было не страшно одному проехаться по знакомым маршрутам. Знакомые места открывались с новой стороны.

В январе 2013 сгоняли с Женей на Offroad Show. Месить грязь зимой оказалось не слишком весело и тяжко для спортяги.

KIA Sportage "Hippo". Part 2.

The first competition was "Country Park". Quite a light event, where we came just to drive in the fun. Climb deeper, get dirty more. It was interesting and fun. There the understanding has come that the front bumper is no longer a tenant and it will soon be time for the military. At the party student we realized that we could do something and it was decided to go to a more serious competition. They were the "Bratina Trophy". The spirit of the competition soaked us from head to toe and we were cut the whole day that there is strength. And the result was not long in coming. On the move we took the cup for the first place in the category "standard". There was a lot of joy, the very first competition and immediately the first place.
To celebrate, it was decided not to stop there, and soon we are going to the competition “Zarnitsa Trophy”. The people are watching how we take the points - as the car accelerates, it flies into the swamp, drives as far as it can, and then quickly reaches it to the point with a winch. Back she somehow paddles wheels and rides. People are surprised and imbued with respect. Then there was an annoying mistake - at one of the points we missed and fell into a deep rut. Water washes the cabin, the car stalled, pulling the winch back. Dry, plant and fly on. The machine works intermittently, but we persistently collect points, go to the end. As a result, we managed to finish and eventually take third place. But having finished we couldn’t get more, we were evacuated from the forest to the cable. But another cup in the collection.
