А теперь, наконец-то - Доноштия/Сан-Себастьян. В этой заметке на фото исключительно привокзальная площадь, ибо там уже есть что посмотреть и уже есть интересные детали.
А я пока про него расскажу немного. Больше фото будет потом.
Доноштия - это баскское название, Сан-Себастьян - испанское.
Чтобы сюда приехать, надо ехать на Euskotren до станции Amara (внимание, именно Amara).
От французского городка Эндайя/Андай (Hendaia/Hendaye) 40 минут езды.
В Доноштии очень дорогие отели, от 150 евро за ночь и выше. Если вы едете не за роскошью, учитывая наличие Euskotren, лучше селиться в другом городе, а сюда съездить посмотреть.
У меня отель был в городе Ирун (Irun), прямо у выхода со станции Irun-Ficoba, за 56 евро за ночь, причем отличный отель. Как бы заметная разница. Day-trip, когда полчаса на поезде в одну сторону - дело неутомительное. А билет, как я уже говорил, около 2 евро. Т.е. все равно 60 евро вместо 150, почти в три раза экономия.
Цены вполне объяснимы - Доноштия - город роскошный. Расположен на берегу океанской бухты. Имеет красивый исторический центр. Бухта широкая, но по другому измерению можно легко дойти до океана, а там очень красиво. Количество ресторанов и магазинчиков тоже намекает на статус города. Иногда кажется, что ходишь, а у тебя под ногами лежат золотые монетки - так много шика и богатства собрано в этом месте.
Город, как и остальные баскские города, очень ухоженный и уютный.
Инфраструктура на ура, океанский берег обустроен смотровой площадкой с головокружительными видами. На холме над городом большая статуя Христа наверху бывшего форта, который сейчас превращен в музей, причем музей бесплатный и довольно интересный. Подъем к статуе тоже бесплатный, а оттуда такие виды на бухту, что дыхание замирает.
Бесплатность всего этого еще раз подтверждает, что у города и так много денег, и они просто хотели сделать людям хорошо.

Да, город был охвачен политической агитацией в поддержку соседей-бунтарей. А под вечер вообще от вокзальной площади к центру города прошла огромная колонна, скандирующая лозунги за самоопределение.
Если учесть, что это самый богатый регион севера Испании, то мда. Но будем надеяться, что там все закончится мирно.
