Некрасивостей хватало — один главнокомандующий, в смысле президент, чего стоил. Люди честь отдают, а у него челюсти от жвачки ходуном ходят. Стесняюсь спросить: это не принижало Эстонскую Республику, Силы обороны и наших союзников? И вот еще некоторые принялись рассуждать: мол, не парад спасатель фиксировал, а подступы к нему, поэтому и шаг у воинства — не маршевый. Да ладно! А на площади, что, страшно маршевый делался? Аж сил нет, какой маршевый. Ну, воротит от россиян и Красной площади, так хоть у поляков бы поучились. Короче, делайте то, что внушало бы гордость, и так, чтобы можно было гордиться. Или не делайте вовсе. Иначе — смех и грех.

In short, do something that inspires pride and in a way that makes you proud. Or don't do it at all. Otherwise - laughter and sin.
