Аннотация.
Многие паразиты используют своих хозяев не только как запас еды для себя и своего потомства. Наиболее изобретательные захватывают мозг хозяев и управляют ими, заставляя своих хозяев выполнять не свойственные им действия. Например, жертвами таких коварных паразитов становятся муравьи.
Ланцетовидная двуустка заставляет их подолгу висеть на травинке и быть легкой добычей для скота, в печени которых паразит и поселяется. А грибок Ophiocordyceps unilateralis делает из муравья «зомби». Пораженный муравей зацепляется челюстями за лист и висит пока не умрет. Грибок съедает всего хозяина, кроме челюстей, а через несколько недель споры, падая вниз, заражают других муравьев.
Осы же откладывают личинки в беспомощных новорожденных гусениц. Личинки развиваются внутри гусеницы, которая тоже растет все это время. Но даже после окукливания связь жертвы и захватчика не прекращается. “Зомбированная” гусеница укрывает паразитов шелком и защищает от хищников. И таких примеров много не только среди насекомых. Например, одноклеточный паразит Toxoplasma Gondii делает крыс бесстрашными, и они сами ищут встречи с кошками, тело которых для этого паразита самая благоприятная среда. Может ли жертвой таких манипуляция стать человек? Только ли одноклеточные могут манипулировать сознанием? Может ли информация быть подобным «паразитом»?

Мы не всегда отличаем реальность и вымысел, а наш разум охотно находит закономерности там, где их нет. Мы суеверны и верим в приметы. Все это делает нас уязвимыми перед людьми, которые называют себя магами, экстрасенсами, хиромантами или астрологами. Анализируя чужие ошибки и забавные истории о паранормальных явлениях с сеансом разоблачения, попробуем освоить новые подходы к защите от существующих темных искусств.
В этот день сначала будет выступление Юлии Громовой, кандидата физико-математических наук. Она расскажет о применении нанотехнологий.

Уже сегодня мы можем снизить негативное воздействие человечества на окружающую среду, а также вылечить наследственные заболевания, которые раньше считались неизлечимыми. Мы поговорим обо всем этом, а также о причинах неприятия передовых биотехнологий.

Annotation.
Many parasites use their hosts not only as food stores for themselves and their offspring. The most inventive hijack and manipulate the brains of their hosts, forcing their hosts to perform actions that are not typical for them. For example, ants become victims of such insidious parasites.
The lanceolate fluke makes them hang on a blade of grass for a long time and be easy prey for livestock, in the liver of which the parasite settles. And the fungus Ophiocordyceps unilateralis makes a "zombie" out of an ant. The affected ant hooks its jaws to the leaf and hangs until it dies. The fungus eats up the entire host, except for the jaws, and after a few weeks the spores, falling down, infect other ants.
Wasps lay their larvae in helpless newborn caterpillars. The larvae develop inside the caterpillar, which also grows all this time. But even after pupation, the connection between the victim and the invader does not stop. The “zombified” caterpillar covers the parasites with silk and protects them from predators. And there are many such examples not only among insects. For example, the unicellular parasite Toxoplasma Gondii makes rats fearless, and they themselves look for meetings with cats, whose bodies are the most favorable environment for this parasite. Can a person become a victim of such manipulation? Can only unicellular organisms manipulate consciousness? Could information be such a "parasite"?

We do not always distinguish between reality and fiction, and our mind willingly finds patterns where they do not exist. We are superstitious and believe in omens. All this makes us vulnerable to people who call themselves magicians, psychics, palmists or astrologers. Analyzing other people's mistakes and funny stories about paranormal phenomena with a session of exposure, we will try to master new approaches to defense against the existing dark arts.
