Battles In Hip Hop Culture - Mr.Wiggles, Spexx Boogie, Afrika Bambaataa, Ken Swift, Chain Reaction and Mr.Animation.
1. (вопрос к Spexx Boogie и Mr.Wiggles) В России и других странах бывшего СССР есть проблема морального противостояния того, что мы знаем как хип-хоп денс и старой школы, попинга и брейкинга. Есть ли такое в США?
- Ну может где-то и есть, но это слишком разные пласты одной культуры, им нечего особенного делить. Весь этот батловый стаф, он практически не касается танцоров хип-хопа и папинга, лакинга, они просто тусят,делают шоу, выступают и тд. У бибоев другая специфика - это клан, где респект за батл - это главная валюта, поэтому и постоянные вызовы и тд.
- Но в хип-хопе сейчас почти то же самое.
- Ну значит - это уже не хип-хоп, смысл танца без батла - это крутой танец, который привлекает больше содержанием эмоциональным, а не триками и связками. ну вы понимаете о чем я ) Нет ничего плохого в батлах, но для некоторых стилей батлить - это значит откинуть главные вещи на второй план.

2. (Вопрос к Afrika Bambaataa) Бам до 90х были какие-то батлы, кроме батлов бибоев.
- Ну отчасти, некоторые копировали кое что из Брейкинга и добавляли то, что знают из других стилей, Шейк, например, Лок или Дансхолл. Мы называли их фристайлерами, некоторые из них стали очень видными в тусовке личностями.
3. (Вопрос к Ken Swift) Часто на вечеринках вы пересикались с танцорами хип-хопа и других стилей? И был ли какой-то дис с вашей стороны?
- Нет. Мы как правило тусили в Бронксе и Квинсе. Другие танцоры - больше зависали в Бруклине и Гарлеме. Очень редко мы встречались на вечеринках. Диса никакого не было - нам даже было интересно посмотреть как танцуют другие районы.
4. (к участникам Chain Reaction) У вас были какие-то батлы с паперами до 90х.
- Нет батлов в папинге практически не было, были сешены, где каждый просто танцевал в свое удовольствие, а со стороны кто-то вешал ярлыки - тот круче, а тот нет ) все очень условно было.
5. (к Mr Animation) Ты очень много батлил в свое время и в основном по папингу, а много кто говорит, что батлов по папингу, практически не было.
- Ну да, батлов по брейку было гораздо больше, но мы просто ходили и делали вызовы, не просто вызовы, а большие вызовы, район на район - это постепенно превратилось в ежемесечную традицию и некоторые из этих батлов даже как-то назвали. Много батлов организовали ТВ каналы, которые искали что-то новое и интересное.
