Я же, выйдя из ночного поезда, оказался на площади Революции, как подсказывают теги, 21 мая в 5 часов утра. До центра города, который находится на правом берегу реки Оки, проще всего пройти пешком через мост и вверх вдоль стен кремля. В центре много уютных кафешек, но кухня, на мой вкус, хуже, чем в Питере - зато и дешевле. По моим ощущениям, дух города независимых промышленников и купцов олицетворяет здание Государственного банка (https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%93%D0%BE%D1%81%D1%83%D0%B4%D0%B0%D1%80%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B2%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%BD%D1%8B%D0%B9_%D0%B1%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%BA_(%D0%9D%D0%B8%D0%B6%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%B9_%D0%9D%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B3%D0%BE%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%B4), хотя построено оно уже в начале XX века.
Мне естественным образом пришлось решить два квеста: сначала я понял, что забыл очки, новые запасные пришлось купить в сомнительном магазинчике рядом с рынком с рынком, а потом мне все-таки понадобился компьютер с интернетом (ноутбук я специально не брал), и я за 40, кажется, рублей взял час в компьютерном клубе, отдельным приключением был его поиск на окраинах. Посетителей было человек 5-10, и все играли в доту. Вернуться я решил пешком и неожиданно забрел по пути прямо-таки дачные поселки.
На второй день выпил чаю в очень милом кафе в французского стиля, прошел через собравшую невероятное количество народу выставку военной техники внутри кремля, скатался на фуникулере через Волгу до города Бор - вот там гулять имеет смысл разве что если очень мучает ностальгия по 80м - и возвращался пешком по верхней набережной, на которой в это время собрались на последний звонок, кажется, все школьники города.
