Уже и скорость работы у новой прошивки отличная, и анимации плавные, и функциональность богатая, и удобнее чем iOS, но одна беда: от версии к версии за все это время гугл так и не решил проблему локализации.
И речь даже не про «уд-ть. уч. зап.» — это почти неизбежно. Проблема в заголовках пунктов настроек, обрезанных многоточием (из двух точек, прямо как на передовой во ВКонтакте). Дело в том что невозможно совсем никак посмотреть что скрыто за точками. И если в новой версии еще более-менее понятно, то в прошлой прошивке был другой шрифт, а пункты начинались со слова Google, поэтому местами было вообще не узнать что за пункт синхронизации я отключаю.
Опустим то что можно было вовсе не писать у каждого пункта слово «синхронизировать». Ну перевели короткое sync на русский, ок. Но если фраза не помещается, должен быть способ ее посмотреть. Например, длительный тач должен вызывать всплывающий блок, где фразу будет видно целиком, а исчезать он будет сразу как палец уберут.
Впрочем, нечитаемая надпись в одном месте меню — ничто по сравнению с локализацией iOS, а тем более iTunes..
