Я тут частенько пишу про штаты. Это бытовые наблюдения, связанные с тем что я тут до ноября нахожусь, и ни в какой степени не потому что я слепо восхищаюсь западом или не люблю Россию.
Я люблю Питер, переезжать в США желания нет (хотя для путешествий тут есть где разгуляться).
Есть куча удобных и классных вещей здесь, а есть немало неудобств и перегибов. Хотя популярные в России байки о том что здесь могут посадить за взгляд на красивую грудь — это миф.
В частности, в Питере и Москве действительно самое эффективное и красивое метро. В Бостоне на метро нельзя полагаться вообще: оно регулярно ломается, ремонтируется, задерживается, ходит не супер часто, турникеты тупят, а удобную бесконтактную карту для него можно купить только приехав на определенную станцию метро в специальный магазин, который работает в ограниченные часы. А метро Нью Йорка хоть и работает круглосуточно, но в нем бывают пробки, а ночные запахи и контингент оставляют незабываемые впечатления. Продлить бы метро в Питере до 2 ночи, и будет лучшее метро в мире. Держите по этому поводу белку, втыкающую на Гранд Каньон.
