Сегодня миру покажут умные часы от Apple. Это напоминает мне историю с появлением iPad. Принято считать что Apple произвела революцию в технике, дав миру принципиально новое устройство. Когда презентовали iPad, я специально запомнил как мы к нему пришли, потому что ожидал что все заслуги припишут Apple. Скоро это повторится с часами.
Правда в том что не Apple придумали интернет-планшет, а весь мир ждал от Apple планшет уже много лет. Планшеты существовали задолго до iPad, еще со времен КПК (сейчас такого класса устройств уже не существует). Карманный персональный компьютер был не очень удобен, но умел выходить в интернет и имел большого размера сенсорный экран, поэтому прижился как идея. С первого же дня, когда Apple выпустили сенсорный телефон, весь мир ожидал от них удобного сенсорного планшета, это было логичным продолжением идеи и все технологии были к этому готовы. Наоборот, вопреки ожиданиям рынка и потребностям пользователей, Apple год за годом все никак не выпускала столь ожидаемый планшет. По моей памяти, как минимум два года подряд (за три года до презентации iPad) люди на каждой презентации Apple очень ждали анонса планшета, но его все не случалось. Не говоря уже о том что в фантастических фильмах уже много лет использовались планшеты, так что сама идея не была прорывной (в отличие от айфона, например). Что не менее важно, некоторые другие производители к тому моменту уже выпустили первые работающие планшеты современного вида, сам класс устройств уже был доступен, хотя без сомнений Apple выпустила качественную альтернативу и iPad вырвался вперед.
С часами будет то же самое. Просто запомните, зафиксируйте момент: умные часы Samsung Galaxy Gear уже больше года на рынке. Apple не произвел революцию и не придумал умные часы. И тем более их не придумал Samsung. На них был спрос изначально, их придумал рынок, их давно ждали и они были всем очевидны (в отличие от Google Glass, скажем). Часы хотели с момента выхода айпада, так же, как айпад хотели с момента выхода айфона. Если другие планшеты в момент появления айпада только становились на ноги, то часы на момент выпуска эппловских уже вполне себе пережили несколько поколений у разных производителей и стали качественными, удобными, умными и красивыми. Apple сегодня выпустит отличный девайс, он будет хорошей альтернативой уже существующим часам и очень быстро захватит рынок. Не это не будет революцией, и это не Apple придумает умные часы 9 сентября 2014 года.
