Расскажу вам три истории.
1. Через две недели после отставки Полтавченко (помните был такой), мне впервые в жизни позвонили с соцопросом. Это был опрос про политику, и он был очень качественно подготовлен. Спрашивали про отношение к Беглову, про протестные настроения в городе, про возможных кандидатов в губернаторы и про известных петербуржцев (Шнуров, Пиотровский, Невзоров). Опрос прощупывал почву на тему шансов Беглова на выборах. Один вопрос поставил меня в ступор: кого я считаю хорошим кандидатом для Петербурга. Я не смог вспомнить ни одного человека.
2. Несколько дней назад я был на встрече, где представляли проект общественного пространства набережной Карповки. Под этот проект сильно заранее, еще летом, собралась большая инициативная группа. Сбор этой группы внезапно объявили посреди января. Так же внезапно оказалось что проект уже отдан в работу архитектурному бюро, но оно готово выслушать предложения горожан. Правда на обсуждение есть только две недели, потому что через три проект уже должен быть готов. Инициативная группа успела провести две встречи. На третьей, где я был, уже представлялся готовый проект. К чести архбюро - они действительно учли какие-то идеи людей. Ну, те какие смогли успеть за неделю вставить в проект. Откуда такая спешка? Очень просто: сверху пришло требование успеть все построить этим летом. В ущерб качеству срочно запроектировать, срочно согласовать и срочно построить. А осенью как раз выборы. Совпадение?
3. Неделю назад, в день годовщины блокады, на площади где эту самую годовщину отмечали, сразу за спиной моей подруги на тротуар упала огромная насквозь промерзшая водосточная труба. Это такая сосулька толщиной 20см и высотой 2 метра. Прямо на площади где ветераны вспоминали блокаду! А в группе ДТП и ЧП сегодня была новость как иностранка сломала ногу на остановке у Эрмитажа. У Эрмитажа! На скорой увезли. Я сам в этом сезоне справился упасть, хотя всю осень стоял на баланс борде. Можно было бы сказать что Беглов недавно вступил в должность и неправильно его ругать за уборку, если бы он при этом не рассказывал что ситуация под контролем, а коммунальные службы справляются с работой. И как сто улиц посыпают гранитной крошкой. Ходить по улицам невозможно и опасно. Напомню, именно за проваленную уборку снега была отправлена в отставку Валентина Матвиенко.
Это я к чему. Осенью будут выборы. И кажется на них появился достойный кандидат. Теперь я знаю что ответить, если мне снова позвонит соцопрос. Этот чувак невероятно крут. Он как никто другой знает проблемы города, он умеет с ними работать, он умеет организовывать людей и отлаживать процессы, у него есть политическая воля и команда. А главное — это настоящий кандидат от города, не профессиональный политик, не крепкий хозяйственник (у нас уже был один только что, хватит), а человек которому город по-настоящему небезразличен. Запомните это имя (тем более такое имя сложно забыть).

True, there is only two weeks for discussion, because after three the draft should already be ready. The initiative group managed to hold two meetings. On the third, where I was, the finished project was already presented. To the honor of the archbureau - they really took into account some ideas of people. Well, those that managed to be inserted in the project in a week. Why is there such a rush? Very simple: the demand came to build everything this summer. To the detriment of quality, urgently design, urgently coordinate and urgently build. And in the fall, just the election. Coincidence?
3. A week ago, on the day of the anniversary of the blockade, on the square where this same anniversary was celebrated, immediately after my girlfriend's back, a huge, frozen down drain pipe fell on the sidewalk. This is such an icicle 20cm thick and 2 meters high. Right in the square where the veterans remembered the blockade! And in the group of accidents and emergency today there was news as a foreigner broke her leg at a stop at the Hermitage. At the Hermitage! They took me away by ambulance. I myself managed to fall this season, although the whole fall was on the balance board. One could say that Beglov recently took office and it was wrong to scold him for cleaning, if he did not at the same time say that the situation is under control, and the utilities are doing the job. And like a hundred streets sprinkled with granite chips. Walking the streets is impossible and dangerous. Let me remind you, it was precisely for the failed snow removal that Valentina Matvienko was dismissed.
This is what I am for. There will be elections in the fall. And it seems a worthy candidate has appeared on them. Now I know what to answer if a poll again calls me. This dude is incredibly cool. He knows the problems of the city like no one else, he knows how to work with them, he knows how to organize people and debug processes, he has the political will and team. And most importantly - this is a real candidate from the city, not a professional politician, not a strong business executive (we already had one, that's enough), but a person who the city really cares about. Remember this name (especially since such a name is difficult to forget).
