Отлично, что чудовищные события из нашего детства переосмысляются новым поколением, свежим взглядом вспоминаются нашим, выходят новые интервью, не дают забыть, помогают пострадавшим. Этот материал по Норд-Осту очень длинный и полностью состоит из разговоров с людьми, и именно этим он очень хорош. Трагедия и факты глазами участников с разных сторон, без надрыва, с возможностью самому составить мнение.
Спустя столько лет погружение в те события помогает лучше понять то, что происходит сейчас. Особенно нынешним 25-летним, которым тогда было 8. Почему власть у силовиков? Потому что мы хотели этого контроля, хотели прекратить войну. Почему 20 лет люди голосуют за Путина? Потому что помнят войну и боятся войны. Все население смотрело в прямом эфире эти события. Многое изменилось к лучшему, мы больше не живем в страхе за жизнь и это объективно заслуга нынешней вертикали власти.
Но кое-что осталось прежним. По-прежнему репутация власти и гостайна важнее жизней людей. 2002 год: врачам, которые работали с пострадавшими в Норд-Осте, не рассказали про газ. Позже их обязали подписать неразглашение. Они до сих пор отказываются от интервью. 2019 год: врачей, к которым привезли пострадавших от взрыва под Северодвинском, не предупредили о радиации. Позже их обязали подписать неразглашение.
По-прежнему нет программы долгосрочной реабилитации пострадавших. Многим очень дорогая помощь нужна десятилетиями, и дешевле она не становится. На строительство церквей деньги всегда есть, а на регулярные платежи нескольким сотням пострадавших — нет. Это снова к вопросу о ценности человеческой жизни и ее качестве. Об эмпатии и приоритетах. Об этом кстати был мой пост про Беслан, который не все правильно поняли. Государство не виновато что это произошло, оно с переменным успехом сделало все что могло в тех обстоятельствах. Но оно должно хотя бы брать на постоянное попечительство людей, с которыми это произошло.

Сейчас они малозначимые политики и общественные деятели, но в те дни они без команды сверху по своей инициативе заходили под дуло автомата чтобы лицом к лицу вести переговоры с террористами. Кто сейчас Хакамада, тренер лидерства? Даже для меня она картинка из прошлого. А 17 лет назад она была там, как и Явлинский, и другие. Получается, она одна из самых смелых и самоотверженных женщин в России. А Явлинский вовсе не лидер до недавнего времени слабой партии, а человек, который лично спас оттуда 8 детей.
Ну и последнее. Не так уж важно что показывают по телевизору, если ему есть крупные свободные альтернативы. Пока в России не заблокирован Ютуб — свобода слова у нас есть. Если заблокируют, считайте, это конец. Надеюсь, до этого не дойдет. Еще пару лет назад я был бы абсолютно уверен что это невозможно. А теперь стараюсь на будущее не загадывать.

There is still no long-term rehabilitation program for victims. Many people need very expensive help for decades, and it does not get cheaper.
