Моя бабушка пережила всю блокаду в Ленинграде. Когда началась война ей было 12 лет. Осенью 41 года их с братом и сестрой собирались эвакуировать - забрали прямо из школы и отправили на вокзал. Но прабабка Анастасия отыскала их и забрала домой - многие дети пропадали в дороге, поезда уже обстреливали на подступах к Ленинграду.
Семья жила в собственном доме на Ударников, возможно именно поэтому все выжили.
Бабушка всю блокаду работала, дежурила на крышах. Была награждена медалью За оборону Ленинграда - этой наградой всегда гордилась больше всего.

My grandmother survived the entire blockade in Leningrad. When the war began she was 12 years old. In the fall of 41 years, they were going to evacuate them with their brother and sister - they were taken straight from school and sent to the station. But great-grandmother Anastasia found them and took them home - many children disappeared on the road, trains were already firing at the approaches to Leningrad.
The family lived in their own house on Udarnikov, which is probably why everyone survived.
