\СПочему вы в последнее время не даете интервью?
Мне кажется, что человек, успешно занимающийся творчеством, все высказывает именно в своем творчестве, а остальные разговоры — уже от лукавого. Конечно, всем лестно, когда их мнением интересуются, а значит, считают их важными персонами, но это самообман. Боб Дилан однажды сказал: «Важны только песни, а я почтальон, их доставляющий». С этой точкой зрения я полностью согласен. Мнение почтальона никого не должно интересовать. Чтобы не мутить воду впустую, я и перестал полтора года назад давать интервью. Я трезво отдаю себе отчет в том, что люди интересуются мною только из-за моих песен. Моя сила — в них. Любое мое слово, сказанное зря, забирает у них эту силу. Поэтому я буду отвечать на вопросы коротко.

It seems to me that a person who is successfully engaged in creativity expresses everything precisely in his work, and the remaining conversations are already from the evil one. Of course, everyone is flattered when they are interested in their opinions, which means that they are considered important persons, but this is self-deception. Bob Dylan once said: "Only the songs are important, and I am the postman delivering them." With this point of view, I completely agree. The opinion of the postman should not interest anyone. In order not to stir up the water for nothing, I stopped giving interviews a year and a half ago. I soberly realize that people are interested in me only because of my songs. My strength is in them. Any word I say in vain takes that power from them. Therefore, I will answer the questions briefly.
