Свой 36-ой День рождения отмечает «Ленинградский рок-клуб». Там начинали свой творческий путь солисты групп «ДДТ», «Аквариум», «Кино» и другие. Сцена клуба помнит многое и многих. И пусть сейчас по адресу Рубинштейна,13 не встретишь прославленных музыкантов, это место навсегда останется значимым в истории российской музыки.
7 марта легендарному рок-клубу исполнится 36 лет с момента его основания. Когда-то, в далеком 1981, власти решили легализовать русский рок-н-ролл, в результате чего и создали этот клуб. Первым президентом был объявлен Николай Михайлов, на тот момент он даже догадываться не мог, какую роль в будущем сыграет его «детище».
С первых дней в «Ленинградский рок-клуб» невозможно было протолкнуться — людям не терпелось послушать новых исполнителей. Начинали свою карьеру именно на этой сцене такие группы как «Кино», «Аквариум», «Аукцыон». Затем их сменили «Гражданская оборона», «Народное ополчение» и другие. Главное, что ценили музыканты — открытость и законность выступлений. Они знали, что за свои песни их не увезут в милицию и не оштрафуют.
Сцена «Ленинградского рок-клуба» дала шанс малоизвестным начинающим музыкантам выбиться в люди. И несмотря на то, что спустя годы в этом доме расположился театр «Зазеркалье», а клуб обрел другое место прописки, петербуржцы помнят его значимость и ежегодно отмечают День рождения.

And despite the fact that over the years the theater “Through the Looking Glass” is located in this house, and the club has found a different place of registration, Petersburgers remember its significance and annually celebrate their birthday.
