К своему удивлению обнаружила, что один из самых часто задаваемых вопросов в фандоме - "что это за мистические суперспособности у Чирута Имвэ?".
Открытие меня не только удивило, но и огорчило, потому что показывает, насколько далеко фандом оторвался от своих корней и насколько плохо помнит матчасть.
Уж каких только переизвращенных версий фандом ни напридумывал! Вукипедия поведает вам, что это, мол, простой человек, у которого припрятан потайной (и почему-то битый) кайбер-кристалл, который усиливает восприимчивость к некоторым аспектам джедайской Силы даже у людей, от природы невосприимчивых; а он невосприимчивый, но очень верующий, и вера заставляет его тренироваться бить в бубен, несмотря ни на что, и...

Самым не поддающимся объяснению у них остается эпизод со сбиванием прицелов у имперских гвардейцев. Тут фандому не помогают уже ни кайбер-кристаллы, ни Сорвиголовы с Затоичи, и народ какбэ недоумеваэ.

А ведь над этой сценой фандом потешался 40 лет, гадая, что случилось с хваленой меткостью имперских штурмовиков! А ответ всё это время был у нас перед глазами, особенно учитывая еще Оби-Вана, которого штурмовики просто в упор не видят, и прокачанного Люка, которого в упор не видит сам Вейдер.

Возможно, фандом сбивают с толку слова Бэйза о том, что Чирут не Джедай? Так он и не Джедай, потому что Джедай - это юзер, прошедший школу. Даже прокачанному Люку в эп.VI отказывались присваивать титул, пока он не сдал экзамены.
К слову, способность 3 вкупе с не столь сильно проявленной способностью 2 должны заставить фандом задуматься о том, что и Бэйз не так прост, как кажется, несмотря на весь его скепсис.
А может, фандом сбивает с толку то, что Guardians не прыгают выше головы и не заставляют предметы левитировать? Ну, про прыгать я бы попросила. А левитация предметов - довольно специфический навык, который юзерам так просто не дается; в эп.IV мы его вообще не видим; Люку понадобилось несколько лет, чтобы нащупать эту способность, при том что Оби-Ван объяснял, как это теоретически делается, и все равно в полном объеме освоить удалось только под руководством Мастера.
А больше всего сбивает с толку, полагаю, вырождение образа Джедая в сознании фандома - из мыслителя в трюкача с саблей. Запрыгивание на третий этаж, кручение огненного меча и левитация предметов стали первыми и единственными опознавательными знаками Force-user'a, при том что в оригинальной трилогии были последними. Будьте прокляты, приквелы!

The discovery not only surprised me, but also upset me, because it shows how far the fandom has broken away from its roots and how badly it remembers the materiel.

Wookieepedia will tell you that this is supposedly a simple person who has hidden a secret (and for some reason beaten) kyber crystal, which increases susceptibility to certain aspects of the Jedi Force, even in people who are naturally insensitive; but he is refractory, but very much a believer, and faith makes him train to beat the drum, no matter what, and ...

The most inconsistent with them is the episode with knocking down the sights of the imperial guards. Here neither kieber crystals, nor Daredevil with Zatoichi, nor the Kakbe people are perplexed, help the fandom.

And the answer all this time was before our eyes, especially considering Obi-Wan, whom the attack aircraft simply do not see at close range, and the pumped Luke, who Vader himself does not see at the emphasis.
