"Но мир окружен семью небесами, на которых обитают силы и ангелы и архангелы, совершая служение поклонения Богу вседержителю и творцу всего, не потому, что Он будто бы нуждается в этом, но чтобы они не были праздными и безполезными и безблагодатными. И поэтому Дух Святый обилен при Своем вселении и пророком Исаиею исчисляется в семи образах служения, которые почили на Сыне Божием, т. е. на Слове, когда Он пришел, как человек. Ибо «Дух Божий, – говорит Он, – почиет на Нем: дух премудрости и разума, дух совета и крепости (дух ведения) и благочестия, дух страха Божия исполнит Его» (Ис.11:2–3). И так, первое небо сверху, которое обнимает прочия, есть мудрость, и второе за ним – небо разума, а третье – совета, и четвертое, считая сверху, – небо крепости, и пятое – небо ведения и шестое – небо благочестия, и седьмое – эта твердь над нами, которая полна страхом озаряющего это наше небо Духа (ср. Прем.1:7). Ибо Моисей отсюда взял образец светильника с семью ветвями, который непрерывно светил во святилище; потому что он устроил это богослужение по небесному образу, как Слово говорит к нему: «Ты должен изготовить его точно по тому образцу, который ты видел на горе» (Исх.25:40)."

The patristic confirmation of the 7-heaven cosmography:
"But the world is surrounded by seven heavens, on which dwells forces and angels and archangels, performing the service of worshiping God the Almighty and the creator of everything, not because He seemed to need it, but so that they would not be idle and useless and without grace. And therefore the Spirit The Holy One is abundant at His dwelling, and the prophet Isaiah is numbered in the seven forms of service that rested on the Son of God, that is, on the Word, when He came as a man, for “the Spirit of God,” He says, “will rest on Him: the spirit of wisdom and reason, the spirit of counsel and strength (spirit of knowledge) and piety, d x the fear of God will fulfill Him. ”(Isa. 11: 2–3.) And so, the first heaven from above, which embraces the rest, is wisdom, and the second after it is the sky of reason, and the third is council, and the fourth, counting from above, the sky of the fortress, and the fifth - the sky of knowledge and the sixth - the sky of piety, and the seventh - this firmament above us, which is full of fear of the Spirit that illuminates our sky (cf. Prem. 1: 7), for Moses took a sample of a lamp with seven branches from here, who shone continuously in the sanctuary; because he arranged this service in a heavenly way, as the Word says to him: “You must make it exactly according to the model that you saw on the mountain” (Ex. 25:40).
