В нынешнем 2015 году 90% популярных групп из 90-х выглядят и двигаются, как голодная массовка зомби-апокалипсиса. Но исключения бывают, например – группа Scooter. А точнее Эйч Пи Бакстер, потому что двоих других мужиков с афиши в 90-х не было и поэтому я их знать не знаю. А этот, белобрысынький, мне со школы знаком).
Так вот, если внешне Эйч Пи немного и «восковат» (хотя в целом выглядит так же, как на пожелтевшем постере из журнала Cool), то на сцене зажигает вполне себе годно. И бегает из угла в угол и руками машет, и прыгает, и ногами дрыгает и в зал постоянно пальцем тычет (мол, ты, именно ты - купи этот пылесос и эту стиральную машину). И именно он главный «ответственный» за всю ту действительно мощную энергетику, которая действительно присутствует на выступлениях группы Scooter. Благодаря 52-летнему господину Бакстеру Scooter – это все еще весело и все еще довольно-таки бодро.
Но физическая форма и харизма лидера – это далеко не все, поэтому Scooter – это пускай веселое и бодрое, но все-таки дремучее ретро. Как ни странно, особенно ярко это демонстрируют новые композиции, созданные вроде бы с претензией на какую-то свежесть, но звучащие, как потерянные и чудесным образом обретенные демо-записи 1996 года. Короче – сыро и архаично. К счастью в сет-листе концерта их было не много и в основном игрались хиты (те же, что и в прошлые разы). Я вот с печалью почувствовал себя совсем старым, потому что перестал слушать Scooter еще до того, как многие из них были изданы. И да, сет длился полтора часа, не более. Потому что в 90е от более длинных выступлений любимого коллектива и ядерной кислоты публика могла концерт и не пережить (на самом деле нет).
Но если честно - это даже хорошо, что группа Scooter именно такая. Потому что ностальгия – это не только желание выпить водки и вcплакнуть под древний и херовый трэш. Ностальгия – это и желание попрыгать под старый, добрый и по-немецки качественный тыц-тыц-тыц. Тыды-дыц-тыц-тыц.

And it is he who is the main “responsible” for all that really powerful energy, which is really present at the performances of the Scooter group. Thanks to 52-year-old Mr. Baxter, Scooter is still fun and still quite peppy.
But the physical form and charisma of a leader is far from everything, therefore Scooter is a funny and cheerful, but still dense retro. Strange as it may seem, this is especially vividly demonstrated by new compositions created with a pretense of some freshness, but sounding like lost and miraculously acquired demos from 1996. In short - damp and archaic. Fortunately, there were not many of them in the set list of the concert and mostly hits were played (the same as in the previous times). I felt sadly very old because I stopped listening to Scooter even before many of them were published. And yes, the set lasted an hour and a half, no more. Because in the 90s, the audience could not survive the concert from longer performances of their favorite band and nuclear acid (actually not).
But to be honest - it’s even good that the Scooter group is just that. Because nostalgia is not only a desire to drink vodka and cry under the ancient and darn thrash. Nostalgia is also the desire to jump under the old, good and in German high-quality tyts-tyts-tyts. Tyda-tyts-tyts-tyts.
