Одно из самых первых понятий в Каббале, с которым я работал — это понятие берур. Это слово сложно перевести на русский язык; "выбирать", "выбирать хорошее из плохого", "делать явным", "разъяснять" — вот примерный семантический круг этого слова.
Оно используется так: Искры-Капли святости упали в Глубины Бездны и теперь их надо достать обратно, потому что они оживили демонов. Этот процесс доставания Искр-Капель и называется берур. То, что не должно было жить живым, из-за того, что они там, ожило, как нелюбимые и нежеланные дети. Эти нелюбимые и нежеланные дети, должны лишиться своей жизненной силы — так говорит каббалистический миф — и чтобы их отменить, нужно изъять-прояснить эти Искры-Капли святости из Глубины Великой Бездны.
Я говорил, что лучший перевод для этого слова, будет "выяви". И то, что нужно сделать для другого, это: "выяви меня". Я был юн и, к сожалению, наверное клинически безумен. Я читал Натана из Газы, и это было не к добру.
