Я посмотрел сегодня ночью вот такой фильм. Киану Ривз играет молодого человека, который нелегально пересекает границу Австралии и поселяется в странном доме на берегу моря. Это холодный пейзаж, океан и блёклый песок; это большой старинный дом, где живут люди с простыми именами —например, двух молодых людей зовут День, Ночь (Киану Ривз общается в основном с ними), у них есть большой чёрный пёс, несколько служанок, и глава дома (Йан Макшейн). С другими людьми Киану не очень взаимодейсвтует.
Сюжет фильма разворачивается вокруг его снов, в которых этот молодой человек выполняет поручения Дня и Ночи. В какой-то момент глава дома начинает сомневаться, что Киану Ривз сможет и дальше выполнять их указания. Одним утром, пограничная служба устраивает облаву на этот дом, и все притворяются, что никого нет. Однако Ночь пытается забраться на подоконнник, чтобы наложить какое-то своё заклинание на непрошенных гостей, и сваливается на пол с ужасным звуком, и погранцы вваливаются с автоматами в этот дом. Они кричат и угрожают всем в доме. Но каким-то непонятным образом Киану Ривз, успокаивает этих людей, и они уходят.
На этом месте День начинает понимать, почему Ночь выбрал этого человека — у него есть связь с чувствами всех людей, и поэтому он сможет выполнить их поручение. Пока что мы знаем, что это Поручение связано с тем черным псом, который живёт в этом доме.
На следующее утро, Киану строит для пса специальный подземный ход во двор. Его замечает одна из обитательниц дома и, загадочно улыбаясь говорит ему, что его ждёт награда. Киану понимает, что она одна из Дочерей Ночи. Она берёт его за руку и ведёт в большую комнату, где происходит чаепитие.
Киану сажают по левую руку от Йана, и предлают взять побольше лимонного сахара. Киану его постоянно просыпает. Когда ему наконец удаётся набрать сахар, Киану спрашивает у Йана, что есть тайна Сынов Снов Дня и Дочерей Ночи? Йан улыбается и....
Тут я окончательно проснулся. Когда-нибудь я досмотрю этот фильм!

I watched such a movie tonight. Keanu Reeves plays a young man who illegally crosses the border of Australia and settles in a strange house on the seashore. This is a cold landscape, the ocean and faded sand; this is a large old house where people with simple names live — for example, two young people are called Day, Night (Keanu Reeves communicates mainly with them), they have a big black dog, several maids, and the head of the house (Ian McShane). With other people, Keanu is not very interacting.
The plot of the film revolves around his dreams, in which this young man fulfills the tasks of Day and Night. At some point, the head of the house begins to doubt that Keanu Reeves will be able to continue to comply with their instructions. One morning, the border guard raids this house, and everyone pretends that there is no one. However, Night tries to climb onto the windowsill in order to cast some kind of spell on uninvited guests, and falls to the floor with a terrible sound, and the border guards tumble into the house with machine guns. They scream and threaten everyone in the house. But in some strange way, Keanu Reeves calms these people and they leave.
At this point, Day begins to understand why Night chose this person - he has a connection with the feelings of all people, and therefore he will be able to fulfill their commission. So far, we know that this commission is connected with that black dog who lives in this house.
The next morning, Keanu builds for the dog a special underground passage into the yard. One of the inhabitants of the house notices him and, mysteriously smiling, tells him that a reward awaits him. Keanu realizes that she is one of the Daughters of the Night. She takes his hand and leads him to a large room where tea is served.
Keanu planted on the left hand of Ian, and offered to take more lemon sugar. Keanu constantly wakes him up. When he finally manages to get sugar, Keanu asks Ian what is the secret of the Sons of the Day and Daughters of the Night? Ian smiles and ....
Then I finally woke up. Someday I will watch this movie!
