Община Ушгули, состоящая из 4 сел, конечно, необыкновенна красива, да- она под охраной ЮНЕСКО, да- там есть церковь Ламарии (или церковь Успения Пресвятой Богородицы 11века), да- там есть музей. Сванетия- это не только про Ушгули и башни. Я тоже так думала, когда оказалась там впервые в марте, а из-за снегопада наш рейс был отменён. И вот когда после снегопада горы открылись, а мы поехали на Тетнульд, вот тогда-то я смогла прикоснуться к той самой красоте, что ждёт усталого путника в Сванетии. Вы можете поехать на машине, но вы не сможете увидеть той красоты, которая открывается, когда идёшь пешком. Вы не попьёте воды из горных ручьев, не увидите чёрных тюльпанов и рододендронов, ледники и ландшафты. Мы идём осенью, вполне вероятно, что уже не будет ни тюльпанов ни рододендронов. Но Сванетия осенью ещё более очаровательна. Нас будут окружать желтые багряные оранжево- красные массивы гор с белоснежными макушками. Ещё Сванетия- это про людей, в домах которых мы будем останавливаться. Это тёплые открытые радушные гостеприимные люди. А ещё мы идём с самым лучшим проводником, который как огромный Астерикс ворочает камни и строит мосты, и переводит через бурные реки не только сити гёрлс, но и великовозрастных сингапурских тётушек.
