Вчера ходил на концерт Einstürzende Neubauten, которые представляли новый альбом Lament, посвященный Первой мировой войне (ну или вдохновленный ею). Пожалуй, с точки зрения того, что делают музыканты на сцене в ходе действа, это пока самый интересный концерт в моей жизни.
Пример. Композиция Der 1. Weltkrieg (Percussion Version). Бликса Баргельд объясняет концепцию композиции: выбран темп 120 ударов в минуту, один удар на один день войны. Хаке, Унру и Мозер с палочками в руках окружают конструкцию из пластиковых(?) труб, по одной трубе на каждую страну, участвовавшую в войне. Бликса объявляет начало войны. Барабанщики начинают исступленно и самозабвенно отбивать по трубам ритм войны. Девушки из струнного ансамбля поддержки на дальнем краю сцены на два голоса читают названия городов и местечек, где происходили сражения этой войны. Бликса в строгом костюме время от времени подходит к микрофону и объявляет о вступлении в войну очередной страны или о начале очередного года войны. Барабанщики продолжают отбивать дроби по трубам, словно в трансе, девушки читают список городов, иногда их прерывает протяжный надсадный стон перегруженной и пропущенной черт знает через что скрипки. Наконец, Бликса объявляет 1918 год, воющие стороны одна за другой подписывают мир. Война заканчивается, музыка обрывается, свет гаснет. Конец.
Московский концерт в рамках этого тура будет 11-го декабря, питерский — 12-го. Я рекомендую вам сходить, даже если вы толком не знакомы с творчеством группы, я и сам с ним не очень-то знаком, честно говоря. Но это действо в любом случае стоит увидеть.

Yesterday I went to a concert of Einstürzende Neubauten, which represented the new Lament album, dedicated to the First World War (well, or inspired by it). Perhaps, from the point of view of what the musicians do on stage during the action, this is by far the most interesting concert in my life.

The drummers continue to beat the fractions through the pipes, as if in a trance, the girls read the list of cities, sometimes they are interrupted by a drawn out moan of overloaded and missed hell knows what the violins are through. Finally, Blixa announces the year 1918, the howling parties sign the world one by one. The war ends, the music ends, the light goes out. The end.
