В июле я с подачи [id9945529|Пташа] стал участником Folding@home — крупнейшего в мире проекта распределенных вычислений, запущенного Стэнфордским университетом. Суть в том, что вычислительные мощности сотен тысяч компьютеров по всем миру используются для решения ресурсоемких задач, а именно моделирования белковых структур. Призываю вас тоже поучаствовать! Для этого нужно скачать программу-клиент, которая будет получать от сервера вычислительные задачи, выделять под них процессорные мощности и отправлять на сервер результаты: http://folding.stanford.edu/ Ее работа не влияет на быстродействие других программ, если что, все настраиваемо.
Ну или можете найти другой проект распределенных вычислений по своему вкусу) Это однозначное хорошее дело, не требующее от участников ну прямо ваще совсем абсолютно никаких личных усилий)
