18 ноября в 16.00 в лектории Музеев Московского Кремля состоится лекция доктора исторических наук, профессора Михаила Анатольевича Бойцова (www.hist.msu.ru/Departments/Medieval/Staff/Boitsov.htm) «Коронации в Средние века и раннее Новое время». Лектор расскажет о возникновении церемонии коронации, истоках обрядов возведения государей на престол. Слушатели узнают, как развивалась история коронаций в Средние века, смогут сравнить коронационные обычаи Византии и западноевропейских стран. Также речь пойдет о происхождении и значении обряда миропомазания, истории коронационных регалий, старинных текстах, в которых фиксировался регламент проведения коронаций.
Лекция состоится в лектории Музеев Московского Кремля (в здании Оружейной палаты). Стоимость билета – 150 р. (для льготных категорий граждан – 80 р.). Билеты можно приобрести во всех кассах музея (в Александровском саду и в экскурсионном бюро по адресу Лебяжий пер.,4)

November 18 at 16.00 in the lecture hall of the Moscow Kremlin Museums will be a lecture by Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Mikhail Anatolyevich Boytsov (www.hist.msu.ru/Departments/Medieval/Staff/Boitsov.htm) "Coronations in the Middle Ages and early Modern times." The lecturer will talk about the emergence of the coronation ceremony, the origins of the rites of the ascension of sovereigns to the throne. Listeners will learn how the history of coronations evolved in the Middle Ages, and will be able to compare the coronation customs of Byzantium and Western European countries. We will also talk about the origin and significance of the ceremony of anointing, the history of coronation regalia, ancient texts, which recorded the rules for coronation.
The lecture will take place in the lecture hall of the Moscow Kremlin Museums (in the building of the Armory). Ticket price - 150 r. (for privileged categories of citizens - 80 p.). Tickets can be purchased at all ticket offices of the museum (in the Alexander Garden and at the tour desk at 4 Lebyazhy lane)
