Аутизм: мир глазами больного (04:37)Сегодня, 2 апреля, Всемирный День распространения информации о проблеме аутизма.
Цель этой даты - подчеркнуть необходимость помогать людям, страдающим аутизмом. В этот день во всем мире по телевидению показывают ролики социальной рекламы, проводятся конференции по аутизму, на которых специалисты и родители аутичных детей имеют возможность рассказать обществу об аутизме как о глобальной проблеме
В день распространения информации об аутизме во всем зажигаются синие огни. Синим светом подсвечиваются здания, памятники, мосты и другие постройки в разных городах.
«Мы зажигаем синие фонари, чтобы пролить свет на аутизм и привлечь внимание к проблемам детей с этой болезнью».
Что такое аутизм? Каковы причины заболевания? Кто подвержен ему? Кто такие "аутисты" и как с ними обращаться? Точного ответа на эти вопросы до сих пор нет.
Аутизм – заболевание более распространенное, чем многие думают. Еще 30 лет назад 1-2 случая аутизма приходились на 10 000 человек, сейчас детей с аутизмом рождается 1 на 90-100 человек. Ученые всего мира бьют тревогу – это больше, чем детей с диабетом и синдромом Дауна вместе взятых.
Этим детям нужна наша помощь, понимание и терпимость. Если вы увидите ребёнка, орущего и катающегося по полу в магазине, быть может на самом деле он вовсе не избалован родителями, а оглушён и напуган навалившимися на него ощущениями. Или, может быть, это единственный доступный ему способ выразить свой протест, достучаться до нас из его реальности. А его маме, в этот момент пытающейся помочь своему ребёнку, совсем не нужны замечания или неуместное внимание окружающих. Всё, что ей нужно - это просто понимание, а иногда - элементарная физическая помощь: вовремя поддержанная дверь или поданная сумка.
Задача нашего общества – протянуть руку помощи особым детям и помочь им адаптироваться в нашем мире.

Autism is a more common disease than many people think. Even 30 years ago, 1-2 cases of autism occurred in 10,000 people, now children with autism are born 1 in 90-100 people. Scientists around the world are sounding the alarm - this is more than children with diabetes and Down syndrome combined.
These children need our help, understanding and tolerance. If you see a child screaming and rolling on the floor in the store, maybe in fact he is not spoiled by his parents at all, but stunned and frightened by the sensations that have piled on him. Or maybe this is the only way available to him to express his protest, to reach out to us from its reality. And his mother, at this moment trying to help her child, does not need comments or the inappropriate attention of those around him at all. All she needs is just understanding, and sometimes basic physical assistance: a door that is kept up in time or a bag served.
The task of our society is to lend a helping hand to special children and help them adapt in our world.
