В прошлом году один из читателей моей книги «Семь «почему» российской Гражданской войны» заинтересовался наградными документами чекиста Е.Г. Евдокимова, высказав сомнение, что там говорится не о расстреле, а об «изъятии» 12 000 человек в Крыму красными после ухода белых. Полная публикация этих документов, которая теперь увидела свет, позволяет устранить сомнения и ответить на вопросы. Кроме того, постарался суммировать и систематизировать накопленные на сегодня данные о статистике крымских расстрелов. Наконец, биографические документы Евдокимова, прошедшего непростой путь от сторонника эсеров и анархистов до большевика и активного участника ликвидации анархического подполья в Москве и руководителя борьбы с махновцами на Украине, интересны и в плане идейной эволюции этого человека.

Last year, one of the readers of my book “Seven Whys of the Russian Civil War” became interested in the award documents of the Chekist E.G. Evdokimova, expressing doubt that it doesn’t speak of execution, but of “seizing” 12,000 people in Crimea as red after the departure of the whites. The full publication of these documents, which has now been released, eliminates doubts and answers to questions. In addition, he tried to summarize and systematize the data on the statistics of the Crimean executions accumulated today. Finally, the biographical documents of Evdokimov, who has gone a long way from a supporter of the Socialist Revolutionaries and Anarchists to a Bolshevik and an active participant in the liquidation of the anarchist underground in Moscow and the leader of the struggle against the Makhnovists in Ukraine, are also interesting in terms of the ideological evolution of this person.
