В день самого известного в истории и небесной иерархии Николая уместно будет написать, в истории рода Мраморновых это имя занимает яркое место. Его носители часто имели непростую, а порой и скандальную жизнь. Напишу коротко о трех. Священник Николай Иванович Мраморнов был двоюродным братом моего прапрадеда священника Александра Петровича Мраморнова, служил в селе Скачиха Балашовского уезда. Видимо, сельская глушь подталкивала к знакомству с зеленым змием. Кроме того, в первую русскую революцию достаточно серьезно пострадал, вот как он описывал свои страдания в рапорте епископу Гермоген (Долганову): "Я несколько раз пытался поехать в саратов с тем, чтобы повидаться с Вашим Преосвященством, высказать своё плачевное положение и просить Вас перевести меня в другой приход, но все попытки, по некоторым причинам, кончались горьким разочарованием и обильными слезами, и глубоким вздохом: что будешь делать, как будешь жить!? Жить в селе Скачихе, Ваше Преосвященство, невозможно: дом со всем моим имуществом сожгли, а хлеб с поля увезли; материальные средства ничтожны; то и другое отразилось на мне. Во время аграрного движения сошёл с ума сын 23 лет; от недостатка средств вошёл в долги, несмотря на то, что не имею ни одной прислуги и воздерживаюсь от мало-мальски питательной пищи, и не в состоянии даже для зимнего времени сшить одежду для себя и своей семьи". Другой Мраморнов, Николай Яковлевич, служил в Петровском и Сердобском уездных казначействах, чуть позже - в Царицыне, где участвовал в издании газет "Царицынская мысль" и "Царицынская жизнь", в 1917 г. он товарищ председателя Уральского исполнительного комитета. Состоял в партии эсеров. Знаю, что его имя есть в картотеке ФСБ, что выяснилось из моего устного запроса на приеме там (лет 10 назад), но письменно дали отписку, что ничего нет. Наконец, третий Мраморнов ближе всего к нам по времени, это брат моего прадеда, второй сын священника Александра Петровича Мраморнова. Много пил и много воевал (а во время ВОВ получал большие награды, лишался их, потом снова получал). Три разные эпохи, три судьбы. И все три ждут своего биографа... Святителю отче Николае, моли Бога о нас.
