В праздник Воздвижения Креста Господня на Бутовском полигоне состоялось мероприятие общенациональной важности - стараниями прихода бутовского храма, прежде всего настоятеля протоиерея Кирилла Каледы, а также директора мемориального музея "Бутово" Игоря Гарькавого - наконец-то открыт памятник всем более чем 20 тысячам безсудно убиенным большевистско-сталинскими террористами нашим согражданам. Прекрасно исполненный (и продуманный) памятник с именами павших от рук государственных убийц героев! Ни копейки государственных денег на разработку проекта и установку памятника! Среди лежащих в Бутово - по крайней мере 6 членов Всероссийского Поместного Собора 1917-1918 гг. - 2 архиерея, 3 пресвитера и 1 мирянин. Волнительно в сегодняшнем скорбном торжестве было участвовать каждому, но и мне - как научному руководителю проекта по изданию и популяризации документов Собора.
Освятил памятник митрополит Крутицкий и Коломенский Ювеналий, который сказал очень правильные и добрые слова и в проповеди на освящении, и за чаем после церемонии. Я вручил владыке Ювеналию один из последних томов издания соборных документов с благодарностью за то, что в Московской области труды Собора в благочиниях и на приходах усердно читаются и изучаются.
С большим тружеником Игорем Владимировичем Гарькавым после того, как гости Бутовского полигона в основном разъехались, записали новый выпуск программы "Великий собор" - специально посвященный ныне открытому мемориалу.
