Для меня происходящее оказалось чересчур эмоциональным. Я очень любил СКК, много раз был там на концертах. СКК это таинство: огромное здание на открытой площади. Его величие постепенно раскрывалось мне по пути через Московский Парк Победы от метро. А вид со стороны Бассейной улицы просто завораживал. СКК это не обычная ледовая арена, он задумывался как универсальный спортивно-концертный комплекс. Именно поэтому большая трибуна на 17 тыс. зрителей была смещена там относительно центра здания — идеально для концертов. Поле по размерам было футбольное, а не хоккейное, киноэкран 33х18 м. Общая вместимость 25 тыс. была крупнейшей в Европе на момент проектировки, рекорд побил построенный по мотивам ленинградского зала московский Олимпийский, который, кстати, тоже сносят. В СКК была продумана акустика: звукопоглощающие панели на всем потолке и толстые шторы на окнах делали этот зал моим любимым по звуку из всех крупных питерских арен. Сейчас оборудование внутри разобрано, мостки с потолка срезаны. В неизвестном направлении вывезены десятки колонок 30А-130 с легендарными динамиками 4А32. Все это работало до последнего.
Я очень жалею об отсутствии у меня хороших фотографий зала и его потолка с историческим оборудованием. Такие снимки легко можно было сделать, придя на Epic Con ([club78682645|@epiccon]) в конце апреля: планы по реконструкции были тогда уже известны, но я поленился купить билет на фестиваль. Не попрощался с СКК.
Ещё огорчает, что в группе за сохранение здания ([club168056520|@skver_ckk]) нет ни одного моего друга. В телевизионных репортажах участников группы лживо выставляют противниками реконструкции, хотя они борются за ремонт здания без его полного сноса и против жилой застройки окружающей территории.
А работы ведутся точно по графику, который был найден в отмененном конкурсе на демонтаж (https://vk.com/wall-168056520_12783). Согласно этому плану, здание должны сравнять с землёй до конца марта. Официально сейчас там лишь ремонтируют кровлю и «освобождают объект от оборудования третьих лиц перед передачей концессионеру», которая состоится в мае. Завезли экскаваторы и несколько гидравлических ножниц, на их бортах стыдливо заклеено временной пленкой название арендной фирмы (https://vk.com/wall-168056520_12867). Неравнодушные люди ([club168056520|@skver_ckk]) пишут во все инстанции и получают формальный ответ про ремонт кровли (https://vk.com/wall-168056520_12220). Согласно проекту, территория вокруг новой арены будет застроена жилыми домами, под это поменяли генплан и приняли специальный закон о стратегических инвесторах. Город не стоит на месте.
Общественности неизвестно реальное техническое состояние СКК. Осыпавшаяся с металлических колонн штукатурка ничего не говорит о возможности сохранения и ремонта здания. Никакие заключения экспертных комиссий о реальном положении дел опубликованы не были. Это наводит на мысль, что технически все совсем не плохо, а СКК стал разменной монетой в играх крупного бизнеса. Скорее всего, вместо уникальной металлической мембранной крыши мы получим типовые «современные» фермы, как в любом торговом центре. К сожалению, архитектура советского модернизма у нас не в почете, хотя за рубежом про нее издают книги. CCMs are systematically demolished, although the authorities do not recognize this in official replies. For some time I have been following the process of struggle to preserve the building ([club168056520 | @skver_ckk]), I can retell a lot, but I think no one will read it. For me, what happened was too emotional. I really loved the CCM, many times I was there at concerts. CCM is a sacrament: a huge building in an open square. His greatness was gradually revealed to me on the way through the Moscow Victory Park from the metro. And the view from the side of Basseinaya Street was simply mesmerizing. SKK is not an ordinary ice arena; it was conceived as a universal sports and concert complex. That is why a large grandstand for 17 thousand spectators was displaced there relative to the center of the building - ideal for concerts. The pitch was soccer, not hockey, with a movie screen of 33x18 m. The total capacity of 25 thousand was the largest in Europe at the time of design, the record was built based on the Leningrad Moscow Olympic Hall, which, by the way, was also demolished. At the CCM, the acoustics were thought out: sound-absorbing panels on the entire ceiling and thick curtains on the windows made this room my favorite in sound from all major Petersburg arenas. Now the equipment inside has been dismantled, the walkways from the ceiling are cut off. In an unknown direction, dozens of speakers 30A-130 with the legendary speakers 4A32 were taken out. And the work is being done exactly according to the schedule that was found in the canceled dismantling competition (https://vk.com/wall-168056520_12783). According to this plan, the building should be razed to the ground before the end of March. Officially, they are only repairing the roof there and “freeing the facility from third-party equipment before handing it over to the concessionaire,” which will be held in May. Excavators and several hydraulic scissors were brought in, the name of the rental company (https://vk.com/wall-168056520_12867) was bashfully taped on their sides with temporary tape. Interested people ([club168056520 | @skver_ckk]) write to all instances and receive a formal answer about roof repairs (https://vk.com/wall-168056520_12220). According to the project, the area around the new arena will be built up with residential buildings, the general plan was changed for this and a special law on strategic investors was adopted. The city does not stand still.

No conclusions of the expert commissions on the real situation have been published. This suggests that technically everything is not bad at all, and the CCM has become a bargaining chip in big business games. Most likely, instead of a unique metal membrane roof, we get typical “modern” farms, as in any shopping center. Unfortunately, the architecture of Soviet modernism is not held in high esteem, although books are published about it abroad. If you are not indifferent to the fate of the building, join the group ([club168056520 | @skver_ckk]), there is still a small chance to change something.
