Как-то во время одного из диспутов А. В. Луначарский, говоря о «душе», отметил: «Самый искусный анатом не сможет сыскать душу у моего уважаемого оппонента. Он найдет легкие, желудок, горло, печень, но души не окажется нигде». Введенский ответил: «Всем известно, что Анатолий Васильевич очень умный человек, но любой анатом обнаружит череп и мозг, но ум найти ему не удастся».
