– Батюшка, как быть тому, кто ходит в храм, исповедуется, причащается, соблюдает посты… – но холоден в вере. Как избавиться от этой холодности? Как побудить себя к рвению?
– Такое бывает, когда человек какой-то частью своей жизни соприкасается с духовным, но не полностью отдается этому, не настолько настроен на духовную жизнь. Может быть, от недостатка знаний, понимания того, что такое духовная жизнь. Многие не могут хорошо вникнуть в это, потому что как бы заняты семьей, своей работой… Нам надо учиться. Мы все должны стать учениками.
Человек должен правильно понимать, Каков Бог, чтобы быть верным Ему. М. Ломоносов говорит, что настолько Его громадность высока и непостижима, что солнце пред Богом – как искра прекрасной лампады. Таково величие Божие.
К сожалению, бывает, родители дают недостаточные понятия о вере, о Боге своему ребенку, а то и, наоборот, воспитывали так, что оттолкнули человека от Бога, не дали ему прийти к Богу, жить духовно, жить чисто, по-христиански, по духовным понятиям, с сознанием, что неизбежна наша вечность и ответ наш пред Богом на будущем Страшном суде, которым Бог будет судить каждого человека. Ведь каждый окажется пред судом Божиим.
Конечно, главный наш суд и постоянный – это наша совесть. И о совести надо иметь понятие: есть чистая совесть и как бы сожженная совесть, но она рано или поздно человеку напоминает о его добрых или злых деяниях.
