Моё крайне посредственное знание английского переводит последнюю фразу как "после того, как мы провернули сделку по передаче власти на Украине."

Interestingly, how would you translate the following:

My extremely mediocre knowledge of English translates the last sentence as "after we completed the deal on the transfer of power in Ukraine."
