Пару слов о Мавритании. Это и не арабский восток и не Чёрная Африка. Я вообще не понял,что это. Горы мусора. Люди живут среди мусора. Он везде. Рядом с особняками и хижанами, хотел написать про дворцы...но их нет. Нет ничего. Только мусор, песок и верблюды.
Теперь несколько слов о рабстве, которым и известна сия земля.
Вопрос сложный. У нас не было времени ,чтобы разобраться, поэтому исключительно личные и поверхностные впечатления.
Считается,что негры в Мавритании до сих пор порабощены. Так говорят, всякие правозащитники.
Однако, мы видели чернокожих далеко не только на грязных работах. Они и в полиции,и в комитете, и в правительстве. Они ездят на джипах, преподают в медресе.
Я бы сказал так. Не каждый черный - раб, но каждый раб , безусловно, черный.
Есть смешанные ребята вполне уважаемые. Вообщем, я думаю ,что тема каст в Мавритании значительно сложнее ,чем представляется. То что рабство есть, видимо, факт. Но! Мы далеко не уверены, что рабы мечтают о свободе. Что им с ней делать?
Проезжая по пустыне, видишь коченвиков. Несколько палаток вместе и одна или две поодаль. Понятная тема. Но у них есть еда, крыша над головой. У некоторых складываются почти семейные отношения с хозяевами и они сами не хотят уходить. Да и куда им идти? Где жить? Они ведь другой жизни не знают. Мне рассказывали, что некоторые белые мавры освободили своих рабов. Не было возможности из кормить. И что? Они пополнили ряды полубомжей в порту.
Сегодня, невооружённым взглядом заметно. Мавритания этнически меняется. Арабы не успевают по рождаемости за своими рабами, (бывшими и нынешними), да и за черными народами Реки.
И со временем, негры будут играть всё более значительную роль в жизни мавританского общества, как религиозную ,так и светскую.

Driving through the desert, you see kochenvikov. Several tents together and one or two away. Clear topic. But they have food, a roof over their heads. Some have almost family relationships with the owners and they do not want to leave. And where should they go? Where to live? They do not know another life. I was told that some white moors freed their slaves. It was not possible to feed. So what? They joined the ranks of the semi-men in the port.
Today, the naked eye is noticeable. Mauritania is ethnically changing. The Arabs do not have time for the birth rate for their slaves (former and present), and for the black peoples of the River.
