От остановки автобуса к столице острова Ре, городу Сан-Мартин, нужно войти через вот такие ворота (ну или через дыру в стене рядом с пасущимися осликами, как я, потому что я не увидел эти ворота с остановки).
Сразу за воротами находится то, что осталось от старой крепости. Крепость громадная. Автор крепости, естественно, Вобан.
На территории крепости, прилегающей к океану, разбит парк. В зданиях этой части крепости расположилась городская администрация.
А во второй части крепости, которую вы тут видите, находится... тюрьма. Да, в главном курортном городе этой части Франции, рядом с самой туристической тропой.
Про ту часть крепости, что ближе к океану, еще будет. Тут же только хардкор, только фото местной зоны. Тюрьма действующая. Такие дела.
