Итак, про восточный берег.
1. Регион Валенсия (каталаноязычный).
Валенсия - совершенно не мое. Хотя там есть что посмотреть и по исторической части, и прекрасный центр науки и культуры для детей, и прекрасный парк в бывшем русле реки, и хороший шопинг, и вообще город так-то расположен к человеку лицом и хорошо спроектирован, а также идеальный климат. Но совершенно не мое. Такой антипатии у меня еще не было ни к одному городу. Хотя все было хорошо, я спокойно ходил один вечером (хоть и по пустым улицам местами), и увидел много интересного. Но какое-то гнетущее ощущение тревоги было, какого не было еще нигде. Причем в два разных дня. Возможно, потому, что даже дизайнерскую детскую площадку в парке закрывают вечером на замок за высокой оградой. И потому, что в двух шагах от центра есть большая зона запустения и уныния. И из-за странных людей, у которых полиция постоянно проверяет документы. Такое впечатление, что спокойная жизнь там как декорация. Но может, и показалось.
Аликанте - отличнейший город. С прекрасным рельефом, с синим морем, с большой крепостью (с бесплмтным входом, кстати) с изумительными видами, пляжами с белым песком, людьми, гуляющими вечером по набережной. Очень и очень хороший город, где точно стоит побывать. Спокойное и красивое место.
2. Регион Мурсия (испаноязычный).
Мурсия - отличный город. Начинаешь подходить к центру - и душа поет, причем пару раз я замечал по взглядам прохожих, что вслух. Все в цветах, все красочно, атмосфера праздника жизни.
Но вот туристу там скучновато. Одна центральная площадь. Собор красивый, конечно. И дома рядом оригинальные. Но больше смотреть особо и нечего. Еще мост старый через реку.
Но хороший город и очень душевный.
Картахена - город существует там еще с римских времен, поэтому есть римский театр, амфитеатр, ну а поскольку мавры там тоже побывали, есть и крепость. Посмотреть есть что, однозначно. Но город страдает от обилия известно кого. Пригороды вообще замусорены, с поезда это видно. Центр прибран и хорош, но там не очень приятно ходить много где. Часть города - это военная база, все виды на которую с исторических сооружений надежно прикрыты плотной высадкой деревьев или стенками. Не то чтобы я там пытался что-то увидеть, просто забавно. Французы вон не боятся, делают панорамную канатную дорогу над военной базой (я тогда удивился очень, но смело и молодцы). А тут все сурово.
3. Балеарские острова.
Остров Ибица, город Ибица - это фантастика, друзья. Едьте сюда именно вне сезона, вот так зимой - вас везде радушно встретят. Люди, природа, погода, белые домики и крепость на холме, порт - тут есть все, чтобы город мог называться идеальным. Город безопасен на 98%. Небезопасные 2% - мыс с парком у старого города, где автомобильный спуск. Там никто не следит, и я еле разминулся с очень неприятными личностями. Остальная часть города безопасна, люди с детьми вечером играют в полутемном парке, а по дорожкам прогуливаются старички с собачками - значит, тут все ок. Полицейские тоже прогуливаются там же.

The center is tidy and nice, but it’s not very pleasant to walk there in many places. A part of the city is a military base, all kinds of which from historical buildings are securely covered with dense planting of trees or walls. Not that I was trying to see something there, just funny. The French are not afraid, they make a panoramic cable car above the military base (I was very surprised, but bravely and well done). And here everything is harsh.
3. Balearic Islands.
Ibiza Island, Ibiza Town - this is fantastic, friends. Go here just outside the season, like this in the winter - you will be welcomed everywhere. People, nature, weather, white houses and a fortress on a hill, a port - everything is here so that the city can be called ideal. The city is 98% safe. Unsafe 2% is a cape with a park near the old town, where there is a car descent. There is no one watching, and I barely missed with very unpleasant personalities. The rest of the city is safe, people with children play in the dark park in the evening, and old men with dogs walk along the paths - it means that everything is ok. The police also walk there.
