Красная поляна.
Не скажу хвалебных слов, что здесь все волшебно, что «австрия отдыхает» и т.д.
Но не скажу и что все плохо, все тяп ляп, недоделано, показуха и т.д.
Ок, просто ок. Дорогу построили отличную, железная дорога со скоростными ласточками тру, но цены до недавнего времени были убыточными, сейчас норм (250 от Адлера, 400 от Сочи) плюс уменьшили количество рейсов.
Несмотря на наличие дороги, из аэропорта ласточки не ходят никуда (бред... а еще бредовей то, что ржд отменили их прямо перед новым годом - начало массового лыжного сезона для приезжих).
Понастроили - это да: много, быстро, есть огрехи, недоделки, где то низкое качество дает о себе знать. Но смотрится хорошо, «горки город» своей архитектурой хорошо вписывается в горный ландшафт, симпатичные улицы, набережная.
Торговые центры, аквапарки (два в красной поляне), детские центры, даже мак дак есть :)
Цены как цены. Дорого, дешево, обычно. Большой разброс на все: жилье, питание, сервис, транспорт. Каждый найдет подходящее для себя: и нищеброд, и жлоб, и нормальный человек.
Публика оказалась вполне нормальной. Адекватные, коммуникабельные местные (правда таксисты назойливы), нормальные приезжие (несколько раз сегодня беседовали с прохожими в городе и на склонах, приятные адекватные люди).
Русским духом, конечно, пахнет, но терпимо.
По катанию в горах: сегодня катались на «горной карусели». Мне понравилось: трассы разные, на красных и черных людей немного, на подъемниках очередей не было (дольше скипассы в кассе покупали). Сегодня и вчера шёл снег, так что его много, на закрытых трассах по пояс :)
Есть трассы, проходящие через лес, есть широкие, есть разное внетрассовое катание.
На популярных трассах есть отвратительные узкие и довольно крутые места: скоблят до льда и грунта + опасно.
Гондольные подъемники - прикольно: нет ветра, снега, удобно заходить, выходить.
Кстати, климат отличный. Правда было не по себе утром выходить из дома в весну (+4) без снега в зимней одежде с лыжами и ботинками в руках :)
Посмотрим на другие места здесь, но пока впечатления положительные. Справедливости ради отмечу, что место для олимпиады действительно удачное: у моря плюс десять, зелень есть, кипарисы, в горах - хороший снег (хотя год на год не приходится).
Народу, кстати, довольно много, несмотря на будние дни.

There are trails passing through the forest, there are wide, there are different off-piste skiing.
On popular tracks there are disgusting narrow and rather steep places: scrape to ice and ground + dangerous.
Gondola lifts are cool: there is no wind, no snow, it’s convenient to go in and out.
By the way, the climate is great. The truth was not to be in the morning to leave the house in the spring (+4) without snow in winter clothes with skis and boots in hand :)
