Frankly speaking I was slightly disappointed by the latest LVTHN offering. Despite impressive production, a couple of early classics revised and funny intro in Russian ("Истинный изменник, истинная шлюха"=)) "True Traitor, True Whore" just wasn't as good as we used to expect from Jef "Wrest" Whitehead. New songs lacked both memorable riffs and trademark nightmarish atmosphere.
Several years passed. Wrest managed to handle his personal problems and recharged his batteries. This spring the mighty Beast named LEVIATHAN is returning with the follow-up to TTTW and, judging by samples and creepy artwork, Wrest has truly overdone himself. In my humble opinion we have nothing to do but prepare to dive deep into his mindtwisting nightmares again. This time the way out won't be easy. By any means.
P.S. Have you ever seen BM photo more awesome than the one on the left?=)
