Странно, возвращаясь к старым вещам, находить в них новизну и свежесть. Особенно ярко это переживается с книгами и музыкой, наверно чуть менее - с кино. Так вот, это странно, но всегда, когда происходит подобное открытие - и особенно в музыке - это взрыв, полет и покой одновременно. (Кстати вот вам походя мой совет от депрессии - попробуйте сделать то, что вам всегда хотелось сделать, но вы никогда не понимали, зачем вам это нужно и какой в этом смысл) Но вернемся к нашим... нет, не баранам - цветам. Точно помню, что я услышал Yes в конце 2008 года - фантастическое смешение красок и звуков, невозможно описать восторг, который я испытывал от творений этой группы во главе со странноватым субтильным Йоном Андерсоном. Да все они там были странные, что говорить... И лишь одна вещь мне не давалась из "золотого века" Йесовцев - полуторачасовой альбом "Tales from Topographic Oceans", о котором я слышал самые невероятные - причем в противоположных крайностях - отзывы. Шесть лет попыток понять этот диск ни к чему не приводили, он даже не запоминался, его как будто не было. Шесть лет и десятки попыток. И единственная причина, по которой я сейчас все это пишу, - я просто въехал в него, господа и дамы, я понял и въехал! Шесть лет! Десятки попыток! Это кайф! Я кончил, дамы и господа!

I remember exactly that I heard Yes at the end of 2008 - a fantastic mixture of colors and sounds, it is impossible to describe the delight that I felt from the creations of this group, led by a weird slender Jon Anderson. Yes, all of them there were strange, what can I say ... And only one thing from the "golden age" of Yesovtsev was not given to me - an hour and a half album "Tales from Topographic Oceans", about which I heard the most incredible - and in opposite extremes - reviews. Six years of attempts to understand this disc did not lead to anything, it was not even remembered, as if it did not exist. Six years and dozens of attempts. And the only reason I am writing all this now is that I just drove into it, ladies and gentlemen, I understood and drove in! Six years! Dozens of attempts! It's a thrill! I finished, ladies and gentlemen!
