9 мая. Я всё трогательнее к этому дню, к памяти о воевавших.
Яснее картинки из истории о подвигах, об условиях жизни в военное время, о детях, шедших в бой и умиравших от голода людях. Видели фотографии, как на пл. Мужества во время блокады складывали замёрзшие трупы штабелями? С ужасом "накладываю" ту картину на сегодняшний вид.
В моей семье есть рассказы, как рожали в оккупированном Ленинграде, как варили и ели кору, как эвакуировали прабабушку с дочкой на руках по дороге жизни, как другая беременная прабабушка отказывалась уходить из деревни, в которую вошли немцы, и родственники её уводили силой, как прадедушка вернулся без руки. Многие не вернулись.
Низкий поклон за силу духа, за отвагу, за жизнь.
В Новгородской области есть памятник погибшим в боях. Трудно рассказывать детям о войне. Как объяснить, зачем оружие и почему так много погибло людей.
Представляете Николай закрыл своей грудью амбразуру! Молодой пацан встал осознанно под расстрел во имя тех, кто воевал рядом, ждал дома, знакомых и незнакомых!

My family has stories of how they gave birth in occupied Leningrad, how they cooked and ate bark, how they evacuated a great-grandmother with her daughter in her arms along the road of life, how another pregnant great-grandmother refused to leave the village, into which the Germans entered, and her relatives took her away by force, like great-grandfather returned without an arm. Many did not return.

Imagine Nikolai covered the embrasure with his chest! The young boy deliberately stood up for execution in the name of those who fought nearby, waited at home, acquaintances and strangers!
