В 24 года Корбайн покинул Нидерланды и уехал в Лондон — как оказалось, навсегда. Однажды Антон услышал голос вокалиста манчестерского квартета Joy Division, суперзвезды депрессивного пост-панка Иена Кертиса. По прибытии в Лондон Корбайн мгновенно оказался в эпицентре буйного расцвета пост-панк-тусовки и быстро превратился в ее виднейшего фотолетописца. Он даже успел отснять своих любимцев — антиутопически мрачная съемка квартета на эскалаторе лондонской подземки стала одной из знаковых для Joy Division. В 2007 году Корбайн дебютирует в игровом кино фильмом "Контроль", названном в честь великого хита Joy Division "She"s Lost Control" — черно-белым трибьютом группе, которая перевернула его жизнь и превратила в легенду.
