More and more often we come across stories with headlines like: former designers abandoned everything and began to do this, former advertisers did this and stuff like that. It makes me very happy. Finally, a sobering begins, a clearing of the mind, I don't know exactly how to call it. People who are tired of moving pixels back and forth under someone else's direction and engage in completely meaningless edits to what was originally stillborn begin to see that there is something else besides a computer. That you can start sewing shoes, making birdhouses, planting a forest, making wooden furniture, while none of them has ever done anything other than moving pixels and writing endless letters. I think these are the first shoots of some wonderful movement, I want to believe in it. I want to believe that not everyone sees themselves at the computer until old age, not everyone sees the next five years at the layout of the sushi menu or flyers of the next sale. Yes, design is great, but it needs to be applied to everything in life, to family, to everyday life, to the view of the world in general. There must be something else besides a computer, there must be. It is very important to wake up, to break away from him, to do something really and seriously. Let it be tree planting, fish bags, cookies, whatever, but the real deal. Not like, not retweeting, something that you can touch, made with love and kindness. Once, having planted oaks in a pot at home, I did not expect what would happen in the end. When suddenly, in a few days, small oaks sprout from under the bare ground, small but already real trees, this is something absolutely incredible, this is a miracle of life, real life. It doesn't matter to them whether there is a Wi-Fi or not, how well it catches the network, and so on, they are, they are alive. Just like any item, a real hand-made item feels completely different than an item in a store, it is filled with a completely different meaning and meaning. This difference is similar to the difference between a family man and a man who does not yet have children. Families quietly smile when they hear comments about children and parenting from people who have no children yet. These are two worlds, two completely different worlds, there is no point in even discussing something, you have to live with this. So is the creation of anything, even the smallest. Any creation will enrich you in a way you never imagined. Create, create in reality, write real paper letters, print photos, keep papers and children's handicrafts, this is what you don't need Wi-Fi and electricity for, this is real life.
