А в Берлине однажды построили Стену, и в город пришла беда.
Испокон веков городские стены охраняли своих птенцов.
Берегли их сны от чужого плена, не пуская бродяг и купцов.
А в Берлине Стена совершила измену - по приказу слепых глупцов
вскрыла в теплой воде городские вены, забрала детей у отцов.
Испокон веков стены городов устремлялись в сплошную высь,
защищая людей от стаи волков,
прогоняя медведя и рысь.
А в Берлине тогда лишь не стало воров и вонючих помойных крыс,
когда с рук были сняты остатки оков и Стена эта рухнула вниз.
