Помните фильм "Один дома-2"?????
Потеряться в многомиллионном Нью-Йорке очень легко???? особенно если Вы там впервые. А если путешествуете с ребенком????????????то к поездке нужно подготовиться заранее. И крайне важно определиться с жильем.
Многие стремятся поселиться в центре (Time Square или деловой Down Town), однако эти районы абсолютно не приспособлены для проживания с детьми????♀
Огромные давки на улице, смесь запахов пластиковых фаст-фудов... (Будьте готовы, что детей до 5 лет придётся часто носить на руках. Им либо не видно из-за толп прохожих, либо страшно от давящей атмосферы мегаполиса в перемешку с туристической меккой...)
Но когда мы выбирали место, то конечно же не знали об этом... И выбрали исключительно ориентируясь карте - Манхэттен, центр и центральный парк. И это оказалась
лучшей локацией для семейного проживания в Нью-Йорке - район Upper East или West Side.
Будьте готовы и к тому, что в многолюдном Нью-Йорке очереди везде! В зависимости от места, ожидание в общепите или местах развлечений может занять от 15 минут до 2 часов - с детьми это может быть очень проблематично.
Кстати, о питании. Никому не нужно объяснять, что такое американская еда???????? Но если Вы придерживаетесь здорового питания, то найти подходящее заведение поможет Гугл по запросу "healthy food".
В Нью-Йорке очень много музеев и экспозиций - от исторических и научных до удивительных и даже странных. Музей истории лифтов и Центр магических искусств, Музей гангстеров и Музей троллей. Последний мы, кстати, посетили???? и попали на настоящую вечеринку добрых Trolles, превратившись в семейку троллей. (см.фото). Дочь была в восторге!????
Еще одно классное место, которое мы посетили - Музей Рипли. Это настоящая лавка странностей и диковин, собранных известным путешественником Робертом Рипли за 40 лет кругосветных странствий.
Кстати, в местных музеях предусмотрены отдельные входы для семей с детьми (не поленитесь узнать у охранников).
Немало впечатлений Вам подарит зрелищная экскурсия по Нью-Йорку на двухэтажном автобусе ???? которая ведется на многих языках мира, в том числе на русском.
Ещё поднялись на небоскрёб башни Рокфеллера, в Gulliver’s Gate, музей морской жизни....
Ну и конечно же Национальный музей, в котором происходили чудеса в фильме «Ночь в музее». Но в этом музее и без фильма хватает диковинного!!..
Безусловно, ездить в такие мегаполисы, как Нью-Йорк гораздо легче без детей, особенно маленьких. Ведь не надо думать о дневном сне, полезной еде, капризах, развлечениях и безопасности.... Но семья есть семья! И гораздо теплее и веселее, когда все вместе! Это большая ценность выстраивать отношения с самого детства, хоть и весьма трудно бывает....
????Если вы разделяете эти же ценности, то заокеанское путешествие в город небоскребов, несомненно, станет для Вас и Вашей семьи ярким приключением!

the best location for family living in New York is the Upper East or West Side.
Be prepared for the fact that in crowded New York, queues are everywhere! Depending on the place, waiting in a public catering or entertainment places can take from 15 minutes to 2 hours - with children this can be very problematic.

There are a lot of museums and exhibitions in New York - from historical and scientific to amazing and even strange. Elevator History Museum and Magical Arts Center, Gangster Museum and Troll Museum. By the way, we visited the last one ???? and got to a real party of kind Trolles, turning into a family of trolls. (see photo). The daughter was delighted! ????
Another cool place we visited is the Ripley Museum. This is a real shop of oddities and wonders, collected by the famous traveler Robert Ripley over 40 years of traveling around the world.
By the way, local museums have separate entrances for families with children (don't be too lazy to ask the guards).
A spectacular tour of New York on a double-decker bus will give you a lot of impressions ???? which is conducted in many languages of the world, including Russian.
We also climbed the Rockefeller Tower skyscraper, Gulliver’s Gate, the Museum of Marine Life ...
And, of course, the National Museum, where miracles took place in the film "Night at the Museum". But this museum has enough outlandish even without a film !! ..
Of course, it is much easier to travel to such cities as New York without children, especially small ones.
